The property hosted Karaoke nights that were loud, making it difficult to relax or fall asleep. There was loud live music during breakfast as well, and housekeeping personnel was shouting and dragging furniture and I couldn't relax. I had one more night left, but I reserved a room at another hotel since the noise became too much. I didn't ask for a refund.

My room was very clean. Staff are very helpful and friendly. They helped to bring my bag up the stairs provided me with room service when needed. I was travelling with my little dog and she was very comfortable. The pool is very nice!

Our room was tiny- like no dresser and my husband’s side of the bed was against the wall so no night table and he had to climb into the bed. We also had no hot water. However, the place is clean, it’s in a great location, the staff is great, the pool is very nice, it includes an adequate breakfast, and the restaurant has very good food. There is entertainment every night and Saturday morning at the restaurant/bar which could be annoying when you don’t like the style or wanted to go to bed early because we could hear it in our room. We did really enjoy Latin dance lessons on Friday night. The teacher they had was excellent and inclusive of beginners.

The Palms is a lovely hotel with a wonderful location a block from the beach. The staff is very accommodating, but this property may not suit all American tourists. The rooms are very small in general and the hot water doesn’t really work. If your room is on the second floor, you will have to walk up a flight of stairs.

The property was good. They had a mini fridge, stools, and a micrwave in the room - which was convenient. Parking was terrible and I was told to make sure to park under the lights. There is a breezeway hallway that trandmits the noise from the restaurant/pool area that was VERY loud at night when events were taking place there. Made it hard to sleep. It was convenient to the beach and the staff was very nice.

Air conditioning very good, Breakfast good, rooms clean. The only urgent upgrade required is the hot water. Not a single day there was hot water. Just luke warm. As we discussed the issue with other guests and they too had the same issues. Staff were excellent both at the restaurant and house keeping. Check in and reception desk were excellent. Especially Laura. Overall we had a great stay.

The room was not very good and it was right next to the bar restaurant noisy
Instead of fixing tiles they just grout
The shower barely drained. It would fill up and it's just a little hump there that if you didn't take a quick shower it would flood the bathroom

Staff were awesome. The hotel lobby and pool area were very nice and looked very clean and in good condition. However we were shocked when we got our room. The rooms had no windows to the outside. It looked like it had been stripped of everything - the kitchen had everything removed (looked like it used to have stove, dishwasher and cupboards) and only had a small fridge and microwave with a few cups and silverware, and two bowls. No plates, knives or any way to wash the dishes. No lamps on the bedside tables. The sheets, towels and pillows were very dingy, thin and yellowed. Electrical switches were hanging out of the wall. And to top it off, we found two cockroaches in the room - one crawling across the bed so we checked out a day early. They also played music very loudly in the restaurant till almost 10:00 so we couldn’t get baby to sleep.
