This was the my last day of vacation and I was amazed at how well this motel was. From check in to out. Property was exactly as advertised. Clean and spacious room as well as property.

Lou at the front desk was awesome. The whole place was great but expensive for what we got. The room was ok but could have been cleaner. Fortunately we were tired and just wanted to get some sleep. The continental breakfast wasn’t great. All in all we had a good stay and I would stay there again but the price should reflect the value a little more.

Room dingy. Floor was dirty. Bathroom had mold, shower faucet coming out of the wall and hairs on the tub. If we were going to be staying longer than 2 nights, we would have left and gone somewhere else. Definitely would not stay there again.

The room was clean and comfy! The staff were friendly and very accommodating! They had great recommendations for any questions I had on food and transportation! The location was perfect, within walking distance to food, pharmacy and grocery! Kids had a blast dancing to the DJ, building sand castles and relaxing in the lazy river! Would highly recommend for anyone with young children!

Friendly staff. Solid beach motel but the room is pretty dated. The pool area is pretty unique and the outdoor bar area with music and a giant led screen was cool. We played Cornhole out there and then walked next door to the Starbucks and shops. Pretty easy beach access and breakfast was definitely better than most places. Would stay again.

The people were great but this hotel is in serious need of a refurb, the rooms are lousy, dated and uncomfortable, I seriously considered leaving straight away, but I had no alternatives and I was only booked for 1 night. The number and frequency of 5* reviews for a hotel this size suggests that there is something fishy going on, and the pictures do not represent what the hotel looks like now, I think they are from a different decade.

This place is a motel and not a hotel.We booked a deluxe room but given a standard room on first floor opening to the parking lot open to outsiders. Very old out dated building that was like an old motel. They did not accommodate changing the room even when we said we don’t feel safe staying here with 2 ladies . We had a break in when we were in bed at 10 pm. Thankfully we had the latch. A guy opened our door I don’t know how trying to come in.We yelled and he took off. We called the front desk they sent security , he saw him trying to open other room doors and called the police . They did nothing for our protection other than rekeying . We moved furniture to secure our door and stayed up all night. In the morning when we asked the front desk she did not know anything, nothing was reported and sounded very normal to her. While we were explaining to her she continued looking at her computer screen and working. No sympathy, no excuses nothing at all. It was a horrible experience.

We stayed at Beachside Hotel & Suites for two nights before our cruise. Pros: The location is excellent: steps from the beach, grocery stores, and pharmacies, with easy access to the cruise terminal and Kennedy Space Center. The heated pool and lazy river are great, with sandy and turf areas for kids. The courtyard-style pool area keeps traffic noise out. Décor is nice, free coffee and tea are available all day, breakfast options are decent, and the staff was friendly and hardworking. The resort was very busy with many families, giving it more of a resort vibe than a standard hotel. Cons: Unfortunately, our room appeared clearly neglected. We found hair in the bed cover, rodent droppings in a corner, and a dead cockroach under the shelf above the toilet. We didn’t feel comfortable walking barefoot. The AC was hard to adjust and blew cold air directly over the bed. Ventilation was poor, with constant humidity, window condensation, and a musty/moldy smell. The window couldn’t be opened, so fresh air required opening the front door, exposing the room to dust and cigarette smoke. The mini fridge was badly rusted and overdue for replacement. Food and drinks at the pool bar were also overpriced. We didn’t complain since it was only a two-night stay, but recent negative reviews are legitimate. The hotel clearly needs major renovations. Sadly, we won’t stay here again for future cruises.

The rooms are turned over so quickly that the floors don’t get cleaned completely. Jennifer at the front desk is a godsend. Never lose her. She keeps that front desk flowing and organized. The elevator needs to be cleaned.

Staff was very friendly. Bathroom sink faucet had no water pressure and couldn’t get hot water to work. Beach towels supplied by hotel were ridiculously small and beach chairs supplied by hotel looked like they had been pulled out of a dumpster
