An okay stay

We stayed here for just 1 night as we had an event nearby in downtown Walnut Creek. We usually stay at the Embassy Suites, but decided to change it up and stay here. We found that the property staff were not very friendly, and the upgraded room we had booked was aged and outdated. While the Jr. Suite had two showers, that was a welcome surprise, neither shower had decent water pressure or ability to adjust the showerhead, so we had to hold up our child to get in the water. Doesn't work for anyone under 6ft. tall. All in all it wasn't a bad stay, but we would go back to the Embassy Suites next time.

I did not like the fact that I was charged for NOT using the valet. I have a ADA placard and should not have been charged, Also the valet attendants NEVER drove my car, they allowed me to park myself in the handicap parking. I also tipped everytime I got my keys. So why was I charged??? I should be entitled to a refund on my $60 fees.

Nice LOOKING but uncomfortable!

Shower water temp was impossible to regulate. Temperature control system was awful!!!!!! Woke up sweaty at 3:45am and it was 85+ in the room. Couldn’t go back to sleep. Thermostat or system was broken. Couldn’t get it to cool down.

The hotel charged me extra for a two-night stay. I was charged sixty dollars for parking for two nights, but they charged me $120, which is sixty dollars extra, and I don't know why?

Hotel is directly next door to an apartment complex, so the view looked at somebody's front doors. Plus the garbage area was below our room and it was trash day so we heard the garbage truck very early on our visit.

The room wasn't particularly clean. The street noise was pretty bad (I would recommend requesting an inside room). This is probably a Hotels.com issue, but I put 3 occupants, and the only breakfast option I got was for 1 person. Also, note that there is no other option for parking other than valet.
