Totally terrible for overall services and facilities. Specifically, 1. Bathroom- Water closet is unstable + Shower fittings are broken and leaking + Temporarily installed shelves for towels and amenities 2. Bedroom- bedsheets and coverings/pillows are too old and not clean. 3. No counter top on lavatory. etc...

Very satisfied!
This is our 3rd time staying at the Surf Motel over the last few years. The price is always amazing, so for what you pay, it's a great place. Sure, it's old, it's run down, but they do a great job of cleaning it up, the location is awesome, the rooms are clean, the showers are hot and the water pressure is good, the beds are comfortable, the ac/heaters work well, it's always relatively quiet, and plenty of parking, we've never had a problem finding a spot, the staff are relatively friendly and accommodating... our needs are very simple, and the Surf Motel satisfies our humble needs quite well. We will continue to come back.

Good for having parking for free. Bad for having rusted furniture and restroom lights. Bad for having a broken mirror which is very dangerous. The smell of cigarettes in the room was horrible. There was a lot of pubic hair in the restroom floor.
