About the home
âDunsmore Lodgeâ is a delightful townhouse overlooking the lush green lawns of the Cowes Golf Club. It is a mere a 5-minute drive (or lovely stroll along the foreshore) to central Cowes with its supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The ground floor comprises an open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living room (with 73" smart TV) that leads onto the outdoor enclosed decking. On the first floor, we find the Bedroom 1 (with BIR), the Bathroom (with shower), fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine & clothes dryer) and a separate Toilet. The second floor contains Bedroom 2 (with 50" smart TV & DVD player) which features a wardrobe & tall boy.
Outdoor Areas
There is a fully-enclosed partially covered Courtyard (with outdoor setting for 4 and a gas BBQ) with a view out to the lush green lawns of Cowes Golf Club. There is space for one car in the Single Garage, and additional parking in the shared Visitor spaces and Public parking in front of the adjacent Bowls Club.
At the end of the street is Erewon Park with sweeping 180 degree water views and a fantastic playground (including swings, slides, climbing equipment, communal BBQ's with shelters), picnic area, outdoor showers, etc.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, an Aldi pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There is ducted heating & air-conditioning throughout the home.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 5 beds, accommodating up to 7 guests:
Bedroom 1 (downstairs): One Queen bed Bedroom 2 (upstairs): One Queen bed, one set of Single bunk beds and one Single trundle bed.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process - Local council restrictions are in place for this property and compliance is mandatory.
Recently renovated and newly furnished since our last visit. Well laid out and comfortable. Very neat, tidy and clean. Beach, shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes are within walking distance. We enjoyed sitting back and relaxing on the balcony and the outdoor area, with a glass of wine and beer, cooking on the BBQ watching the Island's wildlife and golfers on the fairway of Hole 6. Definitely will book again.

Lage und Ausstattung ist ja grundsĂ€tzlich ok, aber wenn man knapp 400 Dollar pro Nacht bezahlt, hat man Anspruch auf eine saubere Unterkunft. NatĂŒrlich haben wir sofort Kontakt zu der Agentur aufgenommen, aber bis auf eine beschwichtigende Mail kam nichts. Als ich Caleb anrief, hieĂ es nur, er wĂŒrde zurĂŒckrufen. Passiert ist nichts.
Ich will auf jeden Fall einen Teil des Geldes zurĂŒck!!!
