We didn't go to the bar but from what I could see, it looked inviting with a fair selection. Breakfast options were good and they had Starbucks coffee. Our room had an odor that I wasn't fond of--sort of an aftershave scent--but I'm very sensitive to scents so am highly critical of such things. The pool area was very nice and quiet, but the front sidewalk sitting area was noisy due to traffic--Woodland Blvd is pretty busy. All in all, however, we were very pleased because of how easy it was to walk to a wide range of restaurants, bars, and to Stetson University, which was the reason for our visit.

Room was very nice and so were most of the facilities, with exception of the Bistro and breakfast, which was lacking in options and quality. Paid $24 for microwaved omelette, cup of yogurt, bagel and 2 cups of coffee.

Pool was closed. They said there’s a restaurant in a Starbucks on site but it never opened and it had a sign in the morning that there was breakfast from 6 to 9 when we went down at 8:45 everything was closed. There’s a small pool it’s outside. It was closed by 8:30. I usually stay at Marriott. I’m always usually really happy. I’m not gonna lie. This is the most disappointing one I’ve ever stayed at and then I had to go find somebody to try to check out.

Very Disappointing

The TV didn't work in our room along with the electrical outlets. The bathroom did not look clean either. I was pretty disappointed as this is a Marriott hotel. The staff seemed to not be available when trying to get resolution for the TV and outlets not working. We were told the maintenance person would come fix it but never showed up. I was not satisfied with this visit at all.

Customer service was good.the bed was really comfortable. Thought should not charge for parking overnight at all. Convenient being around eateries. Very quiet with large rooms. Would be nice to have microwave in rooms. Think overpriced in Bistro & Market on certain items. Would stay again!

Check ‘breakfast included’ option before booking

Clean place, friendly staff, super downtown location, room was next to the road which woke us up at 530am. I specifically clicked on the ‘breakfast included’ option on Hotels.com website but then was charged almost $50 when ordering breakfast, so the review would be 4 stars but Hotels.com did a bait and switch on me.
