ROW NYC
"Clean hotel, clean rooms, helpful staff. The cafe was very nice and even with an increased number of travelers because of the US Open the line moved pretty quickly in the morning. Coffee was good, food was decent to good. We were prepared for a small room but even knowing that it still felt a little too cramped. You get a clothes steamer and a safe in your room but literally nothing else so keeping anything in your room that requires or benefits from refrigeration is basically a non-starter unless you want to pay a fee for a fridge during your stay. Our room did not face outward so our view was not great, but we weren't staying for the views. One of the elevators to the higher floors where we stayed was under maintenance the entire time, which led to some crowding in the lobby and longer waits to go up. Location was great, literally steps from Port Authority Bus Terminal and a block from Times Square. Getting to/from public transit was never an issue. Lots of great food options within 1-2 blocks away from Times Square. There's a 24/7 7-11 just minutes away for last minute/late night food and drinks. Would stay again if I needed to be in Midtown."
