I was fully prepared to stay in a great location in NYC for a good price with lots of charm. BUT... First of all the hotel lobby was filled with what looked like random people trying to stay warm, spread out all over the seating areas. Weren't even sure they were customers. Also, when given my first room the floor was wet. Got my socks wet after a long day of travel, no fun. The second room had a broken heater (NYC IN JANUARY). So, what I got were two room options presented to me that were totally unacceptable. Such poor setup and conditions that I refused to stay and walked across the street to book another hotel. To put it in plain words, they give you two towels. Wash cloths and hand towels are "upon request". Until updates are made, this hotel could be classified as a hostel. It certainly isn't acceptable for what else is in the area for the same price. The staff was amazing and sympathetic. I have to assume I am not the only one complaining. They all know this as I am sure they deal with it on a daily basis.

I was very pleased with my decision to stay at this hotel. My overall experience was fantastic, and the staff and accommodations made my visit both comfortable and enjoyable. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere throughout the property felt welcoming and relaxing. There are only two minor caveats to mention. The Wi-Fi could be improved, as the connection was not consistently strong. Additionally, the elevators seem outdated and tended to be slow, which occasionally caused delays. Despite those small inconveniences, the positives far outweighed the negatives. I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend this hotel to others looking for a great place to stay.

Location is Key!!!

Excellent service. Allowed to check in very early for a small extra fee. Staff were friendly and helpful . The room is basic, but fine for my needs. The location was Amazing!! Will stay there again!

I was given a room on 4th floor and it was noisy from the street, lots of theater fans. Also very crowded, long waiting times at the elevator and in the lobby sometimes it felt like being at an airport with so many people with so many bags. It was basic but clean, the metal jail style sink is unsightly but worked. The location is one block from times square so also very convenient in so many ways. Staff were nice.
