The location to see Broadway shows was great. The beds very comfortable. Good shower too. And a decent sized room for an older hotel. Hardest part was there was construction going on which started early in the morning. That was hard after a late night out.

Consistent with previous reviews: good location, near Times Square and 1 block from restaurant row. The lobby is nice, live music some nights. The rooms are clean but among the smallest I have seen; functional for sleeping but not much else. This didn't bother me since I spent little time in the room except for sleep. My only complaint is that the reception desk was extraordinarily slow. It took 10-15 minutes to check in one person, and even though there was a line of people waiting, there was only one person staffing the desk, while there seemed to be several staff members just standing around or sitting at the desk but refusing to help.

I've stayed at this hotel numerous times and I love the location. It is convenient to theaters and the subway. Times Square is super close as is the TKTS booth. Patzeria Pizzeria is just a few steps away and the pizza is fantastic. I'm staying there again a couple of weeks.

Everything was good except for our room. There is an issue with our AC. The room was hot. I reported it and someone came and told us that it sgould work in a few minutes as apparently the breaker was off. It did ran at first and room was much better but during the night, it was so hot again. It stopped running. I did not bother calling anymore as it was around 2 a.m.

Probably the worst hotel I've encountered in over 20 years of traveling around the world. Serious! At check in, there was a couple complaining about the room size, and a bigger room was an additional usd400 a night. Not only rooms are the smallest I have seen, they are smelly, old window A/C and old mattresses. Water has no pressure either.

The location was great. However? You can tell the property is old. The AC rattled like crazy when turned on, the drain in the tub came out, and there were buttons missing on the elevators. There is more I can name but you catch the drift. The staff was very sweet! Edgar (took our bags) was the sweetest to me and my daughters.

The Hotel was older, but clean, convenient, Cozy and the lobby area smelled GREAT every time I entered back into the building!!!! The only issue I had and wish for was that they needed a MICROWAVE somewhere for guest to warm their left over food. A least have a microwave where the ice machines are located.
