Location was great and the view from my city view room was awesome. The room might have been one of the most annoying I’ve ever stayed in though. 1. The lights are tied to some type of sensor, they kept shutting off when I was sitting down trying to work. When I stood up they would turn back on. I never did figure out how to stop this. 2. There was no closet in the room. In an already small room it means having to take up space with a luggage rack in the middle of the room. 3. The bathroom sink was in the entryway/bedroom.

We were unpleasantly interrupted between the hours of 11 pm and then past midnight by a dog left unattended across the hall from us who was barking incessantly due to his owners who left him left unattended. After front calls to the front desk, we were told nothing could be done since the dogs owners were out, and all they could be done was wait until they returned.

The room was clean, and the staff treated us really well. During our stay, 2 out of the 4 elevators broke down, and there were massive lines trying to get up or down in the building. The bathroom was also uncomfortable to shower in, as the angle of the showerhead does not point down

I enjoyed the clean and modern decor, the hotel feels like it has been recently renovated. The location is absolutely amazing—less than a block from Eataly and surrounded by countless wonderful cafés and restaurants, also an easy walk or short subway ride to all the tourists attractions. Having an on-site restaurant was also convenient, and the hotel’s shuttle service to the airport was a nice added bonus. However, there were a few downsides. The reception staff was not very welcoming, which set a disappointing tone at check-in. But the biggest issue—and the one that truly affected the overall experience—was the elevator situation. With elevators out of service, the wait times were often over 20 minutes just to get into an elevator. This became extremely frustrating and overshadowed many of the positives. Overall, the hotel has strong potential thanks to its cleanliness, modern feel, and unbeatable location, but the service and elevator issues need serious attention.
