Edinburgh City Centre Townhouse. Six bedrooms and six bathrooms

Dating back to around 1845 this early Victorian townhouse retains many original features with fireplaces and ornate cornicework still intact.

Located over three floors with main door ground floor access with entrance vestibule leading through to hallway from which lounge, kitchen and dining room can be accessed. There is also a small sun porch to the rear beyond the dining room and overlooking the small walled garden which can be accessed from the utility room.

On the first and second floors the bedrooms can be found.

The house is very spacious and the high ceilings add to the feeling of space.

A beautiful house that is perfect for family gatherings. Having an en-suite bedroom on the ground floor also made it perfect for my elderly parents who could not climb the stairs. The large extension to the rear was perfect space for the whole family. Thoroughly recommend this home.

Wonderful city stay for a large group!

Our group greatly enjoyed our time in the city townhouse. Plenty of room and well stocked for a wonderful stay. We had an incredible time ringing in the new year together in this beautiful home. We had enough room in the home to have both private space and places for the group to spend time together. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Edinburgh with a group!

Beautiful Scottish Home.

It was a wonderful stay. Our group of 11 would go on various excursions most days and meet in the gorgeous living room to discuss impressions of the day . After a glass of wine we would head out to a local restaurant for dinner. There was nothing lacking in the home as far as supplies were concerned and the instant hot water for showers was very impressive indeed. Undoubtedly one of our most enjoyable vacations we have experienced and we have done a number of them. Our sincere thanks to Stephen and Belinda.

A perfect place to explore Edinburgh!

We had a large group of 14 people and this house was perfect. The house was beautiful, spotless, and perfect size for the group. Also close to public transportation and walking distance from a lot of the city. The best part of the experience however was the graciousness of our hosts, who shared suggestions with us and even forwarded along a pair of glasses one of my group forgot. A truly fantastic experience I recommend to anyone!

Lovely home and amazing location

If you are in Edinburgh and want to be walking distance to all the main tourist attractions and have a large group this is the home for you! First of all tons of rooms and bedrooms. A huge living room and kitchen. The kitchen has everything. The host is quick to respond and just all around amazing to communicate with. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Fantastic Townhome!

We stayed with our adult children and their partners for Hogmanay. The home was beautiful, with spacious common areas for hanging out, socializing and playing games. The bedrooms were comfortable and well appointed. The pictures do not really show the beauty, luxury and comfort of this home. To add to this, the hosts were amazing! Very responsive with our questions and requests. One of the very best vacation stays we have ever had. Thank you, Stephen & Belinda!

Such a beautiful home!

Our three-generation family had a wonderful time in this home! Great bedrooms, kitchen and dining room and a fabulous greatroom where everyone could spend time together. A Delightful, Comfortable, Perfect House

I'm not even sure where to begin listing all the things we loved about this house. The whole process was wonderful, Stephen and Bellnda the most gracious hosts from our very first contact. The house is tall and beautiful and thoughtful in every detail. For a large family of multi-generations traveling together, the ease of it all thrilled us. The front door! - sturdy and easy to lock and unlock by any of us independently! The huge and full of history dining table where we had several meals including a birthday dinner. Oh but there are also so many restaurants nearby - interesting places! Our grandchildren cousins were thrilled with the storybook butterfly bedroom with single beds where they could all sleep together. The bedrooms were varied and beautiful, with comfy bedding. The bathrooms elegant and highly functional. All the appliances are new and they work! - A welcome and efficient washer/dryer - dishwasher - all sorts of tableware and pots and pans in the kitchen. The location is just right - within walking distance of the Royal Mile - or short Uber ride - buses along the high street close by. We loved Edinburgh - probably much influenced by our comfort and happiness at 32 Gilmore Place! Thank you!

Beautiful house

Fantastic large and bright living space which was great for our group to spend time together. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated, well equipped and each bedroom has its own bathroom. The location is excellent, central enough that we could walk everywhere and it was very convenient to have parking at the front of the house. The owners Stephen and Belinda were very helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or to stay again in future.
