The location was fantastic. We were able to see and do so much just by stepping outside and walking a few blocks.

Wonderful Accommodations!
Location:Near Waverley train station; Royal Mile; short walk (15 minutes) to the Scottish Museum; steps from Rabbie Tours; close to bus to Rosslyn Chapel
The room was perfect. The kitchen area was large and well-equipped, making it very useful for eating in and not having to always dine out. And take a cup of tea/coffee up to the roof-top. Wonderful sights of the city!
The bed was comfortable and a welcome place to rest after a busy day out.
The location of the Princes Street Suites is terrific--close enough to walk to many attractions, yet just off some of the busier streets. I've read other reviews where people complained about noise from the street and from the train station (Waverley), very near the hotel. Noise and such was NOT a problem for us--and we had the windows open pretty much all the time.
Finally, the staff was FANTASTIC! Very pleasant and helpful. From calling for a car to the airport to giving us their office desk fan so we could sleep (it was warm the first night we were there), the women at the front desk are wonderful, and we felt we could ask for anything we might need and they would do their best to accommodate our request.
I HIGHLY recommend Princes Street Suites for your stay--we know we'll go back!

Perfect location for families
Princes Street Suites was the perfect place for my family in regards to location and size of accomadations. The loaction is within a few minutes walk of museums, restuauants, historical sites, etc. The apartment was spacious with a living room, adjacent dining room, kitchen, two bathrooms, closets, and seperate bedrooms for our teenagers . The washer and dryer were a must for our family and having this convenience helped us pack light for our trip. The staff were very helpful in answering our questions. The apartment was very well maintained. I would definitely recommend this location for traveling families over a standard hotel.

Beautiful apartment - Nice view.
Pros:Room size, amenities, view, comfort!
Cons:Closer parking but realize that is not possible.
Location:You have immediate access to the train station. Don't think you could be closer if you come in by train. Tons of restaurants, pubs, historic places.
This was our best stay in 12 days in the U.K. Granted it was a 3 bedrooms suite versus two rooms but this was a very large place. I would even consider it for a flat for permanent living! Very roomy and within walking distance of the entire Royal Mile. No need for a car. Only negative is you have to park about a block away....
