"Avenida Palace Barcelona is a beautiful, well-located hotel, and overall we truly enjoyed our stay. We chose this property—and were willing to pay a premium—to experience the “Beatles Suite,” given its unique historical connection to The Beatles and their 1965 visit to Barcelona. While the suite is generously sized, it ultimately fell short of expectations, particularly considering the added cost. The Beatles theme is a wonderful concept; however, the execution feels underwhelming and lacks the sophistication one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. The design appears somewhat amateur and does not reflect the elegance and refinement so beautifully showcased in the hotel’s lobby and common areas. As someone with a background in design, this felt like a missed opportunity. With more thoughtful curation, higher-end furnishings, and a more cohesive aesthetic, the space could become a truly immersive and luxurious experience worthy of both its historical significance and premium price point. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and would gladly return. However, in its current condition, the Beatles Suite does not justify the additional expense, and we would not book it again unless improvements are made. The staff, however, were wonderful and deserve special recognition."

"Extremely Disappointed – Lack of Flexibility and Professionalism Our stay was completely derailed by the hotel's lack of flexibility and poor service. We arrived on Palm Sunday for a very special occasion—my daughter’s 5th birthday. She was already dressed up for our planned visit to a nearby church and a birthday photo session at Park Güell, but we never made it. Despite having a prepaid reservation for a room that fits three people, the staff refused to accommodate our family when our plans changed and we arrived with our daughter. I offered to pay a supplement to keep our family together in one room, but the receptionist flatly refused and insisted we book an entirely separate second room instead. The receptionist was incredibly dismissive; she refused to provide her name or contact a manager to help us resolve the situation. Because of this rigid and heartless approach, we had to cancel all of our birthday plans and spend the afternoon searching for new lodging. This hotel seems more interested in upselling than in guest experience or basic kindness. I would not recommend staying here if you are looking for a stress-free family trip."

"After I booked the hotel on this trip to Barcelona, I realized this is the one we stayed before my husband and I got married like 12 years ago. We loved the hotel and are happy to return with family. The location is very walkable to all the Gaudi architectures. Around the corner there are two bar/tapas places are always packed and highly rated. Situated on a big street, the hotel seems quiet without noises. Love to come back again. "
