Check in was very easy and staff was friendly. We've stayed in this hotel many times before when it was Best Western. We were NOT happy with the "new" BW when they moved across the road (cruddy room, under re-construction, was a mess). We chanced coming back to this building and were happy to see it still looking good! The morning staffers at the desk were not so friendly, almost annoyed. I mentioned to one that the milk was empty in the decanter after getting some cereal. She acknowledged me but did nothing until another guest brought it to her attention and needed the milk then and there! Then, when a second staffer started to refill canter, a third staffer called over to tell her not to use too much! Really??? It was 7am, b-fast runs til 10 and you're worried about wasting a half gallon of milk? We checked out shortly thereafter and there was still a cold feel at the desk.

Room great... Pool not so great

Hotel was overall very clean. Rooms has the just been cleaned smell walking into them. Not enough staffing and hated the check out process of just dropping your key card in a basket and not actually getting to speak with someone and get a receipt. Lamp and outlet in room did not work and notified front desk but explained that would not impact our stay. Pool was awful!! Freezing cold, smelled weird, and there was garbage in the bottom. Overall nice hotel but don't stay for the pool or you'll be disappointed.

This is the first time we have been the property since it is no longer a Best Western and now a Hilton. Over the past few year it has feel into a poorer condition, but this stay its seems to have reversed the status which is a good thing.

Everything was great. The only issue was our TV didn't work. However, they replaced it quickly. We discovered it at night going to bed and couldn't get it replaced until the next day. When we brought to the front desk attention, it was replaced quickly.

Just saying....

The front desk lady was babysitting her daughter both evenings she worked. The towels were out both days when we went to swim at the pool. The thermostat in one of our rooms did not work, the lady at the front desk stated she couldn't do anything because maintenance was unavailable. We fixed the thermostat ourselves, the room was very warm Breakfast in the morning is not that great, things were out both mornings we went. I expected more from the "Hilton" but i will not book a room with Spark Hilton again.
