The Perfect Vermont Real Log Cabin House.

We are taking your health seriously and implementing extra steps to make sure the property in fully sanitized between renters.

This luxurious interior, open layout, real log cabin built from Canadian slow grown trees that are over 200 years old. This is a rare find. This three story house, snuggled in rustic terrain on five private acres hidden behind private iron ornate gates. The master en suite bedroom spread out on the entire 3rd floor over 1400 square feet. There're four others bedrooms (two with en suite bathrooms), a great room with 30' ceiling and fireplace , and a man cave/ screening room with a fire places. The entire floor is heat by radiant heating allowing you to walk in your socks warming your feet. A gourmet kitchen with a 10 foot maple top butcher block island on the main floor stocked with every appliance and an additional full kitchen on the first floor along side the man cave screening room with a 10 foot bar, pool table, air hockey table, foos ball table and a projector and screen to watch in your theater seats, wrapped in faux fur. Outside theres a 1000 SF deck with another 10' bar and grill with tables and chairs to meet and enjoy your guest. This is one of the largest homes in the area. Plenty of room for families reunions, bachelor/bridal parties and gathering for people to add great memoirs.

Guests will have access to the entire property except guest house, unless specifically rented along with main house.

Private street, away from city life, yet just 20 minutes away from Burlington and 30 minutes to skiing. While driving to the house, amazing views of the leaves changing or snowy forest. During the winter, curved driveway leaves a picturesque, Christmas card view. Guest aren't stuck only skiing or down town Burlington. You have both. Down town Burlington provides shopping, beer tours, restaurants, coffee shops, brunching, scenic lakeside walkabouts and the famous Church Street. The real Vermont log cabin is a gem. The house is gorgeous and was perfect for our annual friends reunion. We especially loved the privacy and the wonderful interface with the forest. The outdoor spaces were as amazing as the beautiful bedrooms. Would love to stay again if we need the space. Dino was a great host and made sure everything was ready for us and was available for any problems. He went above and beyond in helping a member of our group with a lost item. All in all this was a great venue.

The property is beautiful. Dino the host is quite the world traveler and the things to look at and admire are never ending. The personal touches were so appreciated, like tissues in every room, wine, water and snacks upon arrival, decanters full of breakfast cereal and a huge glass jar of Oreos. The location is perfect being approximately 45 mins from the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory in Shelbourne (south of Burlington) to the west and 45 minutes to Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream to the east (also near Von Trapp brewery). Even though the cabin is in a wooded area, we felt very safe and secure. Dino was always accessible and always helpful. Note that the dining room table seats 8 comfortably. (It is difficult to see in the pictures.)For those with toddlers, bring a cot because the mattresses are as high as those in The Princess and the Pea! :) If you're vertically challenged, no worries - there are foldable step stools in each bedroom!Paper towels and TP are well stocked but I would suggest bringing foil and baggies, if needed.Market 32 and Hannaford's are great for groceries, and Hoagie's Pizza and Pasta provide awesome pizza (no delivery).Our family of 8 had a wonderful time and would return again.

Beautiful Home but Just OK

FYI-There was no cancellation on this property when I booked it 7 months in advance. No directions up front on entry or anything else. I needed to call 1/2 hr. before arrival and at arrival to get directions on entry. To be fair, the owner let us in 2 hours earlier which was kind and he replied quickly every time I texted him.I had to text the owner every time I needed something, entry, lights, problems etc.. I had 15 people and had to go back and forth between owner and my group which was very time consuming. The front storm door was a nuisance (loud) because you needed to shut it by slamming it. The locks weren't easy on front door and back door handle fell off back door. The rod iron reeling on the deck wasn’t safe at all. The frig was not working correctly, warm drinks, but there were 2 other frig's there. That was a plus. The tent we were supposed to use wasn’t available and that left one person without a bed. The owner did offer the tent for free but did not tell me until 1 week before about the tent not available. That left 1 of us without a bed.Most disappointing was the slime in the tub because the water wouldn’t go down the drain. I was embarrassed when I was told about it.Couldn't find light switch's. When 4 people can’t find a light switch that’s a problem. That happened a couple of times.I asked for any kind of compensation by owner but he didn't agree which was disappointing.

An absolutely perfect house for a family of eight. Each bedroom had its own bath (downstairs two bedrooms shared a bath). There was plenty of space to relax and the first floor was an amazing game room. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped for cooking. The entire home was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The best however, was Dino. He was a most gracious host.Highly recommend for a family reunion

A magical, perfect weekend!

This house is truly beautiful and magical, from the snow covered landscape, to the roaring fire, cozy armchairs, enormous and well stocked kitchen, amazing record collection, and great hot tub. We went with ten friends and couldn't have had a better time. Dino was an amazing host, hoping to come back soon!

Vermont Charm

We had the best time at this property. It's exactly as portrayed in the pictures. The host is wonderful....incredibly responsive. So many lovely rooms. The only downside was that the host controls the heat and with temperatures in the negatives/teens, the system had trouble heating the whole house. I would definitely recommend this property and more importantly, I would stay here again without hesitation.

3 Generations for Grandpa’s 90th birthday celebration

The home and property are great. Photos are very accurate. We had plenty of space for 10 adult family members to relax and celebrate a big milestone. Dino was a wonderful host and was very responsive when we had questions. Highly recommend.

We loved staying at this log cabin! It was a great and relaxing place my family could all stay together for my cousin's wedding. We had plenty of space the beds were super comfortable. The check in prosses was different than most places I've stayed, but Dino was great at communicating and made sure we had a great stay. We loved the basement with the pool table and spent a lot of time down there relaxing which was great!

Truly Perfect

This cabin is a gorgeous, peaceful oasis in the woods. It has plenty of space for larger families - we had a group of 6 adults, 4 children with plenty of room to spread out, hang out, and play games together. The cabin has ALL the amenities you could need, and if something is missing the owner will help you immediately. The owner was the warmest and most accommodating we have ever rented from, I can't speak highly enough of him and the property. The cabin is also a short drive to towns with grocery stores, restaurants, and shops. You will not regret staying here!! Highly recommend!!

Vermont Luxury Log Home

We had a great stay at Dino’s beautiful log home in Vermont. We had a party of 11, with plenty of space and a great kitchen for cooking. The downstairs game room was great, and the guys played a lot of games of pool. We would definitely stay again. Thanks again Dino.

Great time in a beautiful spot

A beautiful home with lots of space to entertain. Dino is a super host who was available for any and all questions. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was to our liking including helping out with a mistake I made in booking. Wonderful winter week in a beautiful home

This log cabin/beautiful home exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable and well equipped and located perfectly near town and a close ride to three mountains where we skied all week. The house is big so everyone had their space when they needed it and we had a lot of great family moments hanging out together as well.. we made fires and went in the hot tub and watched a few movies and our favorite sports team. The owner/property manager was great, very nice and very accessible when we had questions We hope to come back next year!

Amazing Experience

My family spent Thanksgiving at this most unique property. Lots of personal touches from the host, throughout the home. Plenty of toys for the younger family members. The host, Dino, is easy to deal with and most helpful. We had a memorable Thanksgiving.

The real deal!

Looking at the property online I thought to myself no way is this real. Our jaws were on the floor when we walked in. A quiet and beautiful large log cabin with all the amenities you could need for a great visit. The hot tub was a great way to unwind after a day in a Burlington. The owner provides records to fill the large open main area with music while cooking and hanging out. The pool table downstairs was a great addition, my bachelor party group spent hours playing. The beds are super comfortable and there is almost a bathroom for each bedroom. This house would be great for a few couples to go and hang together. The owner, Dino, was very responsive. We chatted several times through the stay and he wanted to address any issues and did several times immediately. It was wonderful to rent from him and I would again if the need ever arose. There is grocery shopping nearby and would encourage you to take advantage of the beautiful chef’s kitchen. Great stay, great property and amenities and great area.
