This home was a former model home with Builder claimed "best views in the entire development"!!

Riverbend Lodge is perfectly situated with prime upstream and downstream views of the Big Thompson River. Top it all off with the backdrop of Prospect Mountain and a snowcap view of Long's Peak from the deck; and you have the perfect Rocky Mountain retreat.

From Riverbend Lodge it is just a short walk into the Town of Estes Park and an easy 1.5 mile drive to the Beaver Meadows entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park.

The main level great room has a gas fireplace to gather at with river and mountain views all around...no artwork needed on these walls! This is simply the ideal family gathering place with its adjoining fully equipped kitchen and dining room area. Gaze out to take in the perfectly clear Colorado sky, river and mountain views!!

From the great room you can step out to a fantastic deck to enjoy excellent mountain views along with the sights and sounds of the Big Thompson River! Take it all in while enjoying a cup of morning coffee, evening glass of wine, reading a good book or cooking dinner on the gas grill!

The cozy master bedroom en suite is also located on the main level. Open the windows and let the sounds of the Big Thompson lull you to sleep.

A second family room is located in the lower level along with 2 bedrooms (one queen bed and 2 twins) and a full bath. From this level you can walk-out onto the covered patio and spot elk and other wildlife moseying along the Big Thompson River! Or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the view!

A two car attached garage space comes with this rental. There is also a main floor laundry room.

As our guest you will enjoy access to HOA-shared common fishing areas along the Big Thompson river.

Wildlife sightings abound with frequent visits from elk, deer, wild turkeys and even an occasional bobcat.

Need we go on... Riverbend Lodge is perfect in every way... not just another vacation rental but a perfect mountain home!

**The rentals for this home are managed by Mark and Sue Werder (aka Good Neighbor Vacation Rentals) who live just a few miles away and are available to assist you with your stay! **

** The occupancy for this home is 8 total if at least 2 are children or 6 total if all adults. The 8 total includes day guests who must be approved by the manager. No weddings or other group events**

**Our cancellation policy is stated below. If you have any concern that you (or someone traveling with you) will not able to come because of possible future medical reasons (including Covid) and/or for some other reason then we suggest that you take out a trip insurance plan that would cover that potential situation

**This home is located in a Firewise certified community. There is no smoking permitted anywhere in or around this home and/or anywhere on the HOA shared grounds. Absolutely no charcoal grill or campfires permitted.

Lovely home located on Big Thompson River.Home is well stocked. Kitchen has any and all appliances needed. Furniture is comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet-we saw several elk in front of the home. Sue, the property manager, was communicative and wonderful. She told us about the country market near us which is a gem. Wonderful time in Estes Park.

Fabulous stay

This home was perfect for an extended family vacation. It sits on a beautiful stretch of the river and has plenty of room for sitting in the patio, family dinners, and spreading out inside. The managers are exceptionally helpful and communicative. The walking path along the river is the icing on the cake. Such a wonderful home!

A Perfect Winter Vacation Home

Great place and management!

The property is perfectly located between downtown and RMNP! It’s also just a short walk to Coffee on the Rocks, which has nice coffee, breakfasts, and lunches.It’s a very cozy and clean, well decorated cabin. We saw deer several times on the river too!Sue was perfect to deal with—super responsive and helpful! Highly recommend this place, especially with children as you can keep them downstairs;)

This was my very favorite VRBO we have ever stayed in. Exceptionally clean, perfect location, well stocked kitchen. We had Thanksgiving here and had everything you could ever need. It is tough to beat sitting in the great room with a cup of coffee while elk and deer run around the river. We will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone!

Our favorite place!

This was our second time staying at this property and we can’t wait to come back. The house itself it great, and the location can’t be beat. A short drive to town and RMNP, and we loved walking down the river path to feed the ducks at the rock shop each evening. There is so much to do close to the house, but we also love sitting on the patio and watching the river and nature around. The host has so many helpful suggestions as well!

Lovely area; just right with a toddler to walk through the woods by the river to the duck pond. Toys were a very welcome addition in the house and the lower floor was a particularly safe environment for children. Thank you.

Absolutely Wonderful

My family stayed 5 nights at River Bend. The house was perfect when we arrived and had everything we needed for an extended stay. We sat on the back porch in the evenings and watched the elk and mule deer wander through the neighborhood. This is a great house in a great location.

My sister and I spent 6 nights at this magnificent house, and it wasn’t enough. Super clean and comfortable, spacious, right on the river, fully-supplied kitchen, convenient to the Park and town (I could go on). The views and grounds are absolutely stunning. Incredible property

The property is situated on a river. The large windows provide an amazing view. Wildlife grazed near the river's edge every day. Sue did a terrific job making sure the property was clean and ready for our arrival. This was easily the best house we have ever rented.

Beautiful Home and helpful host

Beautiful facility, very helpful host. Right on the river!!!!!!! Practical and comfortable lodging. Absolutely spectacular backdrop on the river. Well set up kitchen and rooms. (Bring shampoo!!!). Outdoor deck and barbeque were an appreciated adjunct to the trip. We cooked a lot and found the kitchen very useful and well appointed w appliances and cooking utensils. Tv had plenty of apps and was easy to cast to. The host was very nice and readily available. I was very appreciative for their ready help any time I had a question! (This was my very first VRBO!!!) And did I mention, right on the river!!!!!! Loved sitting out on the deck watching the river flow!

This is one of the best vacation rentals we’ve stayed in. It is exactly as pictured and described, very well appointed, and has everything you would need. Communication was excellent and we appreciated the bonus tips about grocery shopping, etc. The babbling river and wildlife make for an idyllic experience.
