Summary:

Mount Nimbus, with its private hot tub, is a slice of Heaven if you’re looking for a mountain getaway to rest and relax. Minutes away from downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, this location has it all. During the summer months, you can enjoy swimming in the outdoor community pool from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend *subject to change per HOA*. Whether you are visiting on vacation or traveling for business, the mountains will have something to offer you- can you hear them calling?



This beautiful 2-bedroom 2-bath condo comes with a master king bedroom suite, a master queen bedroom suite, and a pullout sleeper sofa to comfortably accommodate six people, as well as a full kitchen to enjoy meals with family and friends. The BONUS private hot tub! Imagine melting away in a hot soak after a long day of hiking or shopping. Or simply come back to your condo and relax as you watch the sunset.



For those moments when your favorite show is on and during the afternoon mountain showers, you can take advantage of some downtime with Free Wi Fi and cable TV available in the living room and both bedrooms. Don’t hesitate to curl up in front of the fireplace while you read a book or just watch a little TV. It’s all about you here at Mount Nimbus.

Great place to stay. However, the hot tub was not working and we weren't able to use it. I rented this condo because of the hot tub. It was a big disappointment. I was issued a 100 for the inconvenience.That helped a little.Other than that, it was a very nice place to stay.

Our trip began with realizing that we had not been sent an email containing the unit number and the door code. I contacted the host, Heather. I then had to call the phone number to get a response. I received an email with the information and a message from Heather containing the information. This was never sent before our check-in time. The condo was clean and the kids went directly to the hot tub. This was the entire reason for booking this condo.We entered the hot tub once settled. I noticed the water seemed cloudy and had a color that appeared green. But I thought it was the color of the hot tub at first. Pretty soon we discovered that the hot tub was in fact very dirty. There were clumps of hair floating about. My wife discovered that what I thought was part of the headrest design, was actually mold growing all over the headrests. The filters appeared to be full of debris. I got a glass and took a sample of water out. It was cloudy and had particles floating throughout. We immediately made everyone exit and bathe. A message was sent to Heather with pictures. A passive reply was sent back. But nothing was ever done. I sent two more messages and never received a reply. We spent a lot of money to stay here and were very disappointed. The reviews mention issues that have not been fixed since 2021. The beds squeak, the small room door opens on its own, the bathroom door doesn't lock, and there isn't enough seating for six people in the living room.

I was disappointed with the master bedroom’s bed. It was very squeaky (I’m maybe 175 pounds), and there was only one choice of pillow type-fat. For what it cost, it is inline with similar places I’ve stayed. Overall, I was a little underwhelmed, but I did enjoy myself and the views were decent. You can definitely do much worse! I’d probably stay there again.

Great location very close to Rocky Mountain National Park. Great view! We hiked in the morning and evening and then enjoyed the pool in the afternoon. Having our own personal hot tub was well worth the extra price. Thanks for letting us enjoy this place.

I'd Skip Staying Here. You probably can't even get the door unlocked.

The property in and of itself is fine. Great views. However, here is what made it less than for me:1. The Check In Process: I received multiple emails giving me my door code. When I arrived, it was snowing and windy. I took some items with me to the front door only to find out my code didn't work.I dragged my items back to the car (didn't want to leave them unattended in the snow) and called the company in the email. The person I spoke with had me try to reprogram the lock. So there I was, not dressed at all appropriately for the weather (I hadn't been planning to spend extended time outside in the snow) trying to do this. It finally works and in I go.But wait - there's more!I try the lock again to confirm. This time, the door is open, I'm inside the unit, and I have manually locked it. The code won't work. The guy on the phone has ZERO solutions for me. ZERO.I locate a second number for the property management company. This guy is also of no help. He tells me he will let someone know I am having problems with the lock.When I finally get him to understand that if I leave I will be locked out he gives me an emergency doe to use which worked fine and apparently was always an option.Time Spent: 45 minutesAlso, at no point did anyone ever come by to do anything with the lock.2. You will hear the people above you. The first night I had a family above me with young children, between 5:00-10:30 I got to hear all the running, crying, and screaming. I

Terrific spot!

We loved our stay. We had trouble getting in to our unit upon arrival and on the second day. Getting help was difficult and minimally helpful. Surly fellow on the phone at check in. A difficult runaround to get in on day 2. Service and kindness (or any apology fir the problems)are forgotten virtues.

Beautiful!

Super clean condo with all the amenities. Close to downtown and The Stanley. Hot tub was perfect to unwind at the end of the day. Elk in the yard every evening. Would recommend staying here to eveyone and would book again in a minute!! Thanks for a great stay!

Great Views for a great stay!

The views from this condo are great! The hot tub is a great feature on the cool summer nights while watching the sun settle for the night. This condo was perfect for our little family and I would recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable place to stay that is enjoyable to be at.
