The room was clean! Good location, liked that it was on the river! Bed was comfy, pillows a bit worn, too flimsy! Could not get the coffee pot to work, it kept wanting to descale!! Which means to clean it, & to be honest, I didn’t want to mess with it!! I did watch videos on how to try to get the pot to work, but it wouldn’t work for me! & it was a waste of my time! So I just went elsewhere for coffee, which is no big deal.

I arrived and had no idea what to do, i guess its all self service, but i didnt know, and there was no cell reception so i had to drive back down the street to lead it up to figure it out. Once we got in the room, i noticed a few things that were very strange, the entry door is a sliding glass door, and half the curtain was missing, so if someone walked to the door they could see me sleeping, the bedroom part was missing the blinds from the window on the same side too, which u could see right in to where the kids were sleeping. I asked and they said it was on order, so hopefully its fixed very quick. Next, there is a heater in the main riom and the bedroom, the bedroom heater did not work, left the thermostat at 90 the whole trip, it was still freezing in the room. They came and checked it and said it was fixed, but it still didnt warm anything, like the heater was on but the fan didnt kick in to push out the warm air. Next we went to use the jetted tub, which we paid extra 10 dollars a night for, it didnt work. Filled the tub and nothing, tried every switch we could find and didnt change it. Last there was another large window in the room, if you open the curtain, it basically looks down into another room which looked like the old lobby, but there was someone in there playing video games, kinda odd, but we just kept the curtains shut. Positives, the staff was very nice, and prompt when messaged through app, and a great view.

Had a great 4 night stay in February of 2026. Room was cozy and warm and decorated in outdoorsy/cabin theme which was cute. Bed was comfortable and shower pressure was amazing. Had an issue with getting the door unlocked and I called the provided number and they had someone out in a few minutes to help me. It was user error on my part! I had worried about them not having someone on site to help if problems arose but that was not an issue. Wapati restaurant on site was convenient but I found the food to be just adequate for the high price ($20 hamburgers). Only disappointing thing about Nicky’s is that there was no dresser in the room. I hate not having a place to put my things and living out of a suitcase. There was a place to hang clothing up. Location was just a few miles from the RMNP northern entrance and not far from town either. Highly recommend.

A wonderful location let down by poor accommodation. We were informed that our family suite was no longer avaliable within 3 hours of check in so were moved into two separate rooms, one of which was without heating. We were then relocated to anotjer room before being offered our original room. We moved in to discover that it did not have curtains. This accommodation needs an update and some attention.

Room is great for the price. If you want to spend less money and still have a nice room to stay in. Room was clean and everything was good. Toilet paper was stocked. We had extra towels and great water pressure. The only problem was the toilet flushing was concerningly slow and there was no breakfast Other than that, the location was fantastic, would definitely stay again.

Check in was easy and as explained in email messages. The room was perfect. The fireplace was a lovely addition and added so much warmth. The room was rustic, but not over done. The fridge, microwave, and keurig were great amenities. Despite it being slightly icy in town, no complaints about the property. It’s obviously well maintained. There were other people around, but it was still a very quiet environment.
