The staff went above and beyond to make us welcome. Professional yet so friendly and helpful. There are two wonderful restaurants just steps away from the hotel. I would stay here over the chain hotels nearby. Great value for what you are getting. And there's breakfast!

While our suite was wonderful (loved the fireplace!) There was very little soundproofing so we heard everything said and done in the hallway. Check-in was a challenge because internet problems kept the staff from sending room combinations in advance as advertised. Instead, we arrived at 5pm and had to wait 10-15 minutes for a staff member to arrive and check us in manually.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Brandywine River hotel the room was very clean. Not the most modern, but it definitely felt warm and cozy. The hotel match the atmosphere and the ambience of the location. The staff was great and very hospitable. You’re so sweet Café in front scone are to die for. Also, Brandywine Prime is located right in front great appetizers atmosphere and local chatter. I will be coming back again to stay here. This is perfect for a weekend rinse of city life.
