Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The staff was very responsive and helpful but the hotel building was not good. The first room we were assigned smelled extremely musty and moldy. The light above the bathroom sink and the tv did not work. When we tried to call the front desk to ask for a different room, the phone cord kept falling out of the phone. The front desk was able to find us a different room. We were very grateful that it didn't smell like mold, but in this room, in order to flush the toilet, we had to lift off the tank lid and wiggle the float so the tank would fill. Since the tank lid did not match the toilet, I'm assuming that this has been an ongoing problem and someone along the line broke the original tank cover while doing it. The breakfast area was nice, but the coffee had run out. I understand that they are remodeling and it was a busy weekend, but no one should be put into that first moldy room. #123 and they need to fix the toilet in the other one. Also, the second room had no sofa or lounging chair. Just one chair at the desk and one bed.
