I had a very nice five-night stay at the Eco Urban B&B. Anna and the staff were helpful and friendly, the continental breakfast every morning was tasty and fresh. My spacious room was freshened up beautifully every day. The location proved excellent, walkable to all the main museums and churches, the main station, and the Mercato Centrale (economical meal options for lunch/dinner). There may be some road noise for some (near the main station), but I wasn't bothered and slept well. I recommend it especially for the location and nice people!

I enjoyed staying at this air b&b. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth. Anna at the front desk was very helpful and professional. She invested her time to explain the beautiful places to visit in Florence. She went above and beyond! Thank you Anna! Also, many thanks to all the staff who helped us during our stay and the cleaning personnel. She kept our room nice and tidy. I highly recommend staying here. It is also a convenient location if you want to explore the city.

Wouldn’t stay here again

The room was very nice and amenities were great…bed comfortable. Hallways and street noise were horrible. Until 2am. So loud on the street and people going up and down the stairs . No fan in room to drown out the noise. Made for a horrible nights sleep. Location was close to train station but not in the best area of town.

Good Hotel with Great Location

We stayed at this hotel only for one night. It was close to the train station, but a little hard to find and then even harder to get in. I appreciated the security though. It was within walking distance to lots of food. We did have the room right next to the front desk so it was a little loud. Breakfast was good and I wish we could have experienced the patio as it looked nice. Overall good experience and would stay again.

The room itself was absolutely beautiful and so clean. And compared to everywhere else we stayed in Italy, it was also a very ample size. On our first night, we were both woken up by the road noise right outside (we were on the street side of the building) and we asked if it was possible to move. They said they were fully booked and couldn’t move us, but went out of their way to try to help us find solutions, including giving us some ear plugs. And we actually got used to the road noise very quickly and it really wasn’t that busy, so by the end of our 4 day stay we were sleeping like babies. We were really impressed with their kindness and thoughtfulness. All staff members that we interacted with were so nice and friendly. Also, we got a free bottle of wine, which was a lovely touch. My only real negative would be that the exterior shutters were permanently closed so it was kind of dark in the room, but looking at other buildings, it seems like all the hotels in Florence do this, at least in the rooms that face the street.

We had the BEST STAY at Eco Urban Florence. Everything was new, immaculately clean, and most convenient to the train station, but still an easy walk to everything in Florence. The staff is WONDERFUL and so wanting to help & please. Anna & Kathlyn helped us find a lavanderia for clothes pressing, restaurant suggestions, luggage storage, and general directions. They were so kind, friendly and professional. I would recommend any fellow travelers to stay there. We moved our luggage to 24 hour storage at the sister property, Market Urban Hotel and Joseph was helpful in assisting us! To the owners of Eco Urban B&B, your staff is the BEST!

Outstanding management and staff. The reception and breakfast offering were exemplary. We have seldom met such helpful and pleasant staff in a hotel or b and b in our travels over sux decades! Amenities are satisfactory, but rooms should have a comf I rtable chair to relax i ; also there is very little table space to set down books or to use for writing, computer work.
