It 's a bright little loft studio on the sixth floor (with elevator) of a beautiful and charming tower house of the thirteenth century (Torre_dei_Rigaletti). The elevator goes up to the fifth floor and then there is a short flight of stairs.

The apartment is accessed by a small entrance; step after step Florence will appear in all its beauty. The apartment consists of a well equipped kitchenette, a dining table, a double bed, a sofa (which becomes a single bed) and a bathroom with shower. The view will take your breath away: the windows on three sides that open to the rooftops of Florence, the dome of the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, the Boboli Gardens, Forte Belvedere, bell towers and hills, allowing you to admire the splendor of Florence from above, in peace.

In the spacious terrace (approx. 25 square meters) you can spend lovely breakfasts, romantic aperitifs and unforgettable moments of relax; and in the summer you can also sunbathe! And it is the best location to explore the city: two steps from Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery, Piazza della Signoria, the Duomo and the main shopping streets; it is the ideal starting point to visit all the main cultural attractions of the city and discover the funniest details.

City tax is not included in the price and has to be paid at the check in: € 6,00 per person per day for a maximum of 7 days.

The presence of a flight of stairs inside the apartment makes it unsuitable for people with mobility problems.

Lorsque vous dĂ©couvrirez cet appartement vous vous sentirez privilĂ©giĂ©s. Vous ĂȘtes dans l'hypercentre et Ă  quelques mĂštres des principaux monuments. Effectivement la douche Ă  l'italienne a peu de pression mais ce petit inconvĂ©nient est trĂšs largement compensĂ© par la vue, vous ĂȘtes au sixiĂšme Ă©tage au dessus des toits, seuls les monuments et les tours moyenĂągeuses vous dominent. La terrasse est exceptionnelle. J'ai l'habitude de louer des rooftop et la terrasse se situe, le plus souvent, au dessus de l'appartement donc si vous souhaitez prendre votre repas sur la terrasse ce n'est pas pratique. Dans cet appartement, la terrasse est contigu Ă  l'appartement et Ă  la cuisine et vous prĂ©fĂ©rerez prendre vos repas sur cette terrasse car aucun restaurant ne vous proposera une telle vue sur Florence et les collines environnantes avec des sommets enneigĂ©s au mois de novembre. Au pied le l'immeuble vous trouverez des commerces avec d'excellents produits (charcuteries, fromages et mĂȘme de trĂšs bon plats prĂ©parĂ©s). Autre avantage l'immeuble Ă  un ascenseur ceci est extrĂȘmement rare dans les vieux immeubles toscans. De plus le prix de cette location est trĂšs raisonnable au mois de novembre. On ne peut pas ĂȘtre déçu par cet appartement.

We had a great stay here. The place is modest, but the bed was sooooo comfortable and the rooftop porch view was ultra luxury. You can see all of Florence sitting at the table out there. The location was absolutely perfect, a short walk to everything. And it was so close to the Arno - we had some nice sunset walks along it. It was nice being able to stay in a place up so high since there was an elevator. Marti and Allesandro were super helpful with suggestions and were quick communicators. It was a great place to stay in Florence.

Wonderful deck area and view of the city, especially at night! Walking distance to many restaurants, museums and attractions. Very small and steep entry way steps into the apartment, which was fine for us, but might be challenging for others, especially carrying luggage. Older apartment.

First Florian experience

Oh my word. What a sweet spot. From the moment we were met at the doors by the host to show us around; to the easy check out. Our time was so special. The views are incredible. The spot is so quaint and special. It is literally steps away from some of the most beautiful views. We were so well taken care of by our host it truly made us feel so welcomed and cared for. I highly recommend this place! (Must be able to do stairs without a problem)

Such a view

We had a great stay. The weather, despite being late December, allowed for us to eat on the lovely terrace. The beds were super comfortable. Besides being well-situated for the view of the Duomo and other monuments, the apartment is in a great spot for walking, dining (fine and takeout) and sightseeing. Thanks!

Rooftop

We loved this place! The private rooftop space is perfect- so nice to be above the city with gorgeous views and privacy. The apartment’s location is smack in the middle of the most touristy part of Florence, but the apartment with its private deck offered a great getaway and respite from the bustle of the street. A great value. Our hosts were very responsive and attentive. The communication was a bit awkward: we had very little Wi-Fi to email on the Vrbo site, so used Whatasapp and were never really sure who we were talking to! But all the minor issues we raised with them were quickly taken care of. Highly recommend.

Wow, what a view.

Lovely place with a spectacular terrace and view. Communication with the landlord was excellent throughout. Loads of help checking in, orienting ourselves etc. Only complaint is that we could not get the washing machine to work.

Great Views

The check in process was really easy. I failed to bring cash for the tax portion of the fee so make sure to do so. The apartment is small but very functional. The balcony is SUPER - you can see views all over the city and a great place to have your lunch or dinner. If I visited Florence again I would love to stay in this apartment.

The studio apartment was in the absolute best location! It was an easy walk to all of the main attractions in Florence, in addition to many great places to eat. The terrace offered an incredible view of the Duomo and the Palazzo Vecchio.

Unterkunft liegt zentral, das Bad riecht ĂŒbel, da in den Abflussrohren kein Geruchsstop eingebaut ist. KĂŒche ist sehr spartanisch eingerichtet, Gardinen sind zum Teil aus der Schiene gerissen, was einen sehr lodderigen Eindruck hinterlĂ€sst. WĂ€schetausch war ok, wenn man außer Acht lĂ€sst, dass die zustĂ€ndige Person ohne zu klopfen oder zu klingeln im Zimmer stand. Da das Sonnensegel fĂŒr die Terrasse fehlte , kontaktieren wir die zustĂ€ndigen Personen. Auskunft war, dass man beim Besitzer der Wohnung nachfragen muss. Bis zum Ende des Urlaubs leider zu dem Thema nichts mehr gehört . Insgesamt sehenswerte Stadt, Unterkunft gewöhnungsbedĂŒrftig.

Excellent Location - Great for a romantic stay. A bit rustic!

We loved our 8 day stay here. The location was easily the best part because seeing Florence can be hot and tiring. We were almost never more than a few minutes walk away, so we were able to take frequent breaks throughout the days. This alone was SO valuable. The A/C was also very powerful so it was great for cooling off after a hot day of sightseeing. The kitchen was well-stocked although we didn't use it. The toilet and shower are a touch on the rustic side, but we didn't mind. Everything worked well. Hot water was plenty hot, but the water would be just warm intermittently due to being on the 7th floor. This really wasn't a problem for us, especially since it was so hot outside. Elevator is small, and there are some narrow steps after the elevator. It could be a little challenging if you have mobility issues or when moving large bags in/out. Hosts were easy to work with and shared some good recommendations, but overall we felt like we had our own private rooftop flat for a week. We loved it!
