We had a beautiful, clean room with many amenities. The breakfast was excellent with a wide array of choices. Staff members were professional, friendly and helpful. Excellent location for walking to many Florence attractions. Highly recommend.

This is an excellent choice overlooking the Santa Maria Novella Piazza and walking distance to the train station and car rental locations. Excellent service with comfortable rooms and very close to the sites in Florence. Highly recommended.

Florence Great Hotel!!

I have been to many hotels in Europe and we stayed in the family room which was amazing!! Two very big rooms with two individual bathrooms! This hotel is rated 4 stars but it is more like a 5 star hotel. I would definitely stay in the family room again. It also was priced so reasonable for the rooms. The showers were nice size and great water pressure!! I am very particular of hotels and this was a great pick!! The hotel staff were extremely helpful and great location!! You won't be disappointed!

Room category is a switch and bait. We were stuck into a room that only had a window from the floor to abour 3 feet above thw floor leading into a 5 foot wide interior light well. Nothing like the images online. When we inquired abour it we were told that this is the correct category, but not all rooms look like what is depictured.

This is a beautiful hotel located on Piazza Santa Maria Novella. The room was very nice and quiet. The staff were excellent. There were multiple restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast fast was also excellent with plenty of choices and good coffee!

Getting in the shower or tubs are treacherous. Soapy water makes you feel like a deer on ice. The showers drain very poorly. At a minimum they should place shower mats in each bath. Would not stay again without this being addressed.

We celebrated our honeymoon in the terrace suit and I couldn't recommend more. The hotel is very classy, well kept, and in a great location. Room service comes twice a day, it's a complete 5-star experience.

Experienced the epitome of superior customer service from checking in at the front desk where everything was communicated in detail and answered all of our questions, to the porter delivering our bags from the taxi to the room then showing our apartment to staying in the lovely, very clean, spacious and centrally located temporary home. More than sufficiently supplied with quality amenities and a great breakfast. Loved loved loved the stay!

Hotel D’Orologio

Hotel D’Orologio is beautiful and so much nicer than the photos. The staff are so helpful and friendly, the rooms are beautiful, clean, spacious and traditional Italian with all the modern equipment. The breakfast room is beautiful looking over Santa Maria Novella. The location is perfect for Florence, short walk from all the attractions and tourist areas and in a beautiful area, also benefitting from being a short walk from the train station. Would highly recommend, a beautiful stay and perfect for our honeymoon!

We stayed here on our 1st leg of our trip unique building. My wife brought 8 mini tubes of shampoo on our last night here packing up 2 where missing. We told the staff and they pretty much called us liars that someone took them. The hotel is old so the air conditioning only goes so low so they brought me a fan for the room. We travel a lot and have never had something stolen from our room.
