It had some really interesting and intimate spaces. The only thing that was a little bit of an issue was that it was easy to get lost. It wasn't bad though b/c it added to the charm and uniqueness.

This hotel is clean, has a wonderful breakfast and the closeness to the train station is very helpful. I would recommend this very highly!

Very much like a 5 star hotel - staff is excellent

Pros: The unique decor and elegant interior design and the food at breakfast was 5 star quality. The upstairs breakfast room offers amazing views while you dine on a huge buffet of fresh delicious foods. The bathroom is marble and beautifully decorated. The furniture is very good quality. The staff is 5 star with very good service.
Cons: The dubious room assigned did not match the room request featured online; and the size of the room was rather small for the bed itself; although the bathroom was beautiful and large; the climate temp sometimes was uncomfortable and too hot.
Location: 5-10 minutes from the cathedral/Duomo! And a few minutes more to the Arno River and Uffizi and 10 minutes to the Museo Academia with David. Wonderful!

Good hotel near all major sites

From the moment you check in until you checkout this hotel and its staff are always there to help. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, breakfast is great, hotel is very near Duomo and the hotel has parking. We have stayed there two times before and will definately stay there again

Location and Luxury

After hectic days in Rome, we were taken with the warm calm and comfort of this hotel. Lovely breakfast included daily, the staff will help with everything, just ask. Located at the plaza of Santa Maria Novella it is near train station and 5 minutes from the Doumo. We hope to be fortunate enough to return.

Florence!

Pros: The location, cleanliness, and comfortable appointments in the rooms. And the wonderful breakfast buffet.
Cons: Nothing at all.
Location: Everything in Florence is a tourist site and event. Have heard of terrible lines but we were there in a lower tourist season and no trouble at all.
It was an almost last minute reservation and turned out to be a perfect choice for me and my two teenagers. Right on the plaza across from Santa Maria Novella and very close to the train station. It was a themed decor (watches/clocks) but non-commercial and very tastefully done. Room fantastic and the sitting areas in public areas absolutely comfortable as well as gorgeous. Breakfast buffet fabulous and staff helpful.
