This cozy home is a place for beach-goers and surfers - you can stroll across the street after a day in the waves, rinse off in the outdoor shower, and leave your swimsuits to spin in the washer/dryer under the house. There's plenty of space to relax and sip cold drinks outside, including the covered front porch overlooking the beach and the breezy upper deck with a swinging day bed, rocking chairs, and a 360-degree view of The Washout and the Morris Island Lighthouse. A small portion of the grassy yard is even fenced for your dog to enjoy safely.



Inside, the air-conditioned living space is comfortable and casual. On one side is a living room with a large flatscreen cable TV and a selection of board games to enjoy; on the other is a full kitchen, a dining room table, and a screened door that leads to the porch out back. The place needed a lot of care things were loose and not working. I reported the bathroom faucet was falling apart. and they actually asked me if I could see if something could be fixed on it. I guess they think I carry a tool pouch with me. Overall, it needed a lot of work. Inside and out. One good thing about it was I could see the ocean across the street from the balcony. that was about it.

My sister and I enjoyed our visit to Folly Beach.

Perfect Beach cottage

This is an older beach cottage that has been taken care of. The location is fantastic if you love peace and quiet and love the beach. The property is comfortable and clean. We hope to stay again.

Great Place and Beautiful Water Views

This location is great and without being in the center of it all but close enough to downtown Charleston for shopping and night life. Also, close to other beach towns and a short drive to be about to get out and see what this area has to offer. We also enjoyed all of the local seafood and small town shopping. Looking forward to our next visit.

Relaxing and cozy!

We enjoyed our stay relaxing on the upper deck, large front porch and ample room in the family room. Everything was quite clean. There were a few things that we noticed that needed to be fixed, but I let the owner know.

Great winter escape

Loved being able to see and hear the ocean from this comfortable cottage! We enjoyed the outdoor spaces and being so close to birds, surfers and an ocean view at the wash out. Hope to return soon!

Great little house for a family or group

This is a small property that makes the most of its space. The kitchen is extremely well supplied. the view from the roof top porch can't be beat. It is across the street from the surfer beach so might not be the best for smaller children.

Pretty much met expectations

Unfortunately ran into beach rejuvenation for 2.5 days. But was perfect for my wife and I as well as our dog to enjoy the feeling of being on the beach. We plan to stay again next year.
