The layout of the house was very open. Bedrooms were a nice size. Having two living spaces was very nice. View of sunrises were spectacular. Parking was ideal. The house can be loud and those that are sleeping on lower level will hear everything. The dryer needs to be upgraded as well as the refrigerator.

This a great home for a large group. You can't beat the proximity to the beach, gorgeous views over the smaller houses, and the easy walking distance to town.

Beautiful property

Folly Beach House

Went to SC for a girls trip and absolutely loved this house!! Location was perfect, house was beautiful, and had a great view. Driving into Charleston was was a breeze and very manageable. Folly Beach had a lot to offer as well. Would definitely book this house again!

The check in process was very easy. We did have a little trouble with the elevator but I thinkThe outside door was stuck. After that it was good. The house had a great view of the ocean.It was the perfect size for our party of 10. The kitchen was well equipped. The 2 decks were awesome!

We have been spending Christmas at Folly for 11 years. We live in Mt Pleasant, but love the feel of a getaway. Our expanding family required a larger house and this was perfect.

Great value on Folly

Coastal Blue is a lovely home with a great view of the ocean across the street. Kitchen is top notch. Home comfortably handled our kids and the grandparents. We intend to stay again.

Great get away

With other vacation plans cancelled due to Covid this was a last minute decision to avoid airports and get out of town. We’ve vacationed in Folly before and love the quaint and quiet town. So we looked again and found this gem. The layout of the house is great, view is fabulous and it is literally a 4 minute walk to the beach. The house is well appointed and comfortable. The rental company is very responsive and we had a great week. Exactly what we needed.

Charleston views

Enjoyed celebrating my son’s 21st birthday. Really enjoyed the location. The ocean views from the top floor were amazing!!! The only down l side was. The linens were not changed. There was a toe nail found by my sons pillow. Also, there were large palmetto bugs in the kitchen. 3 came out at once.

Overall a wonderful unit. Clean, near the beach and lovely decks. However we were there during Helene. We lost power. We huddled together in 2nd floor bathroom. Disappointing that there were no flashlights, no batteries and no instructions on what to do in case of hurricane!!! Also bateries in tv remote were dead

Costal Blue

We had 12 total people at Costal Blue in July 2019. The property was just as advertised. Great location just steps from the beach Spacious kitchen with dining table for 12. Upper deck with views of the ocean. 5 bedrooms with 3.5 baths. Bedrooms were large and beds were comfortable. House was clean and updates. All appliances were in working order. We had a wonderful time.

Perfect vacation!

My husband and I took three of our adult kids and their spouses to Charleston on vacation. The 8 of us loved the house. It’s a VERY short walk to the beach, and the beach in this residential area is pristine but not at all crowded. Great location for Charleston tours too. The house is gorgeous and seems new. Master bedroom, plus 1.5 bats, kitchen, living room, dining room and outdoor balcony on top floor. Three bedrooms, a living room, a screened in porch and two baths on main floor. It was absolutely perfect. Quiet at night and great linens too. Not a huge thick comforter which would have been so hot. Loved it and will be back!!

Great for a Beach Crowd

I booked this house for 9 people, all family ranging in age from 60 to my Mom of 97. We were three couples and three singles, plenty of rooms and baths to go around. The elevator was a god send for moving in and out and for my mom - the stairs may have done her in. The views are lovely, sitting on the upper deck with coffee was even better. Many of us walked the beach daily, and some even swam. This time of year the water was only 62 degrees. Beach access was just one house away so easily walkable from the house. Town was walkable too, I would say half a mile. Excellent location, lovely house with nice open floor plan for socializing.

Family Fun Time

The property is in a fantastic location to easily access the beach and downtown Folly. The elevator was wonderful for our older family members. We loved that the outdoor shower had both hot and cold running water. Access to the gas grill allowed us to grill several of our meals without concern of running out of propane. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and cooking utensils. It was unfortunate that a couple of the guest beds downstairs were uncomfortably firm. A couple of bed toppers could easily fix that issue. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay and we enjoyed our trip.

Wonderful Stay

We loved our stay at this property. We had eight adults, and we had plenty of room. We liked how there were multiple places to gather, both inside and out on the porches. You can see the ocean from the kitchen and the upper porch! When you are facing the house, the lot to the right does not have a house on it, so this added some privacy. There is ample parking underneath the house. We enjoyed the bikes we rented with our rental credit. We often rode them to the main street for dinner. The house is a perfect distance away from all the action - maybe about 3/4 mile or so. And of course the beach was lovely! The public access is just a couple of houses down. The only thing we wished we had was a rug underneath the kitchen table to keep the chairs from dragging on the floor.

There was an issue with door code, but was worked out with secondary code. Pictures showed a fridge with ice/water so we assumed there would be a way to make ice. However, tge fridge had been replaced. There was a counter ice machine but it was moldy & there was no instructions on how to use. Would suggest ice trays for clients to make ice.
