"My wife and I travel extensively. We are in our late 60s. We have experienced probably 75-100 hotel rooms, cruise cabins, cottages in our travels. The Scotsman Hotel in Niagara on the Lake, was truly our favorite experience. We were greeted by the managers, and they also took time to see us away when our time was over. Our room, public rooms and staff were wonderful, helpful, friendly. The room appointments top!! "It's situated right inbthe middle of town with lots of shops within walking distance. There was very little need to interact with the staff aside from checking in which was convenient and the rooms were clean and tidy. It's nothing fancy but it meets your needs for a short stay. However during the summer there was live music Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights that went until 1230am which was very loud if you were in your room so if you are someone who is early to bed, be ready."
