The Neighborhood:
This gorgeous condo is only 3.6 miles from the heart of downtown Gatlinburg, TN! It features all the amenities you could ask for as well as high-end touches. The condo complex offers indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, a game room, gas grills, seasonal firewood, and washer/dryer facilities (pay).

Getting Around:
We always recommend 4x4 wheel drive for any condo in The Great Smoky Mountains to be extra safe. Paved roads all the way up and paved parking, too.

Other Things to Note:
• Must be 21 or older to book this condo.
• This condo sleeps 6 guests maximum.
• Fireplace is wood-burning—please bring your own firewood.
• Coffee maker is a Keurig and regular drip—bring K-Cups or ground coffee.
• 4x4 drive is recommended when traveling through the Smoky Mountains, especially in rainy or winter weather.
• Condo Complex: The Summit Condos of Gatlinburg offers a seasonal outdoor pool, indoor pool and hot tub (open year-round), washer/dryer (pay) in the main clubhouse, game room (pay), playground, and scenic seating areas.
• Outdoor pool typically opens around Memorial Day and closes near the end of August; dates are controlled by the HOA and may change without notice.
• Indoor pool and hot tub are open year-round but may close for unscheduled maintenance by the HOA.
• Hot tub is drained, sanitized, and refilled between each guest stay. It may need time to reach full temperature on the check-in day.
• Starter supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and laundry detergent are provided.
• Guests agree to use the website messenger for all communication, even if initial contact is made by another method.
• Bears and all types of wildlife are very common in the area! Do not feed or bother the bears or wildlife! Please leave them alone. We have no control over wildlife. They are very protected here and part of our area. Secure your belongings and always lock vehicle doors.
• We have monthly pest control at all of our cabins.  Being in the Great Smoky Mountains, we are surrounded by nature and wildlife.  Ladybugs, millipedes, and other insects can be difficult to combat around this time of year, even with our constant pest control program in place.  It is not uncommon to see them occur in and around the cabin/condo, especially with the opening and closing of doors.  This is extremely common for the area and all cabins/condos.

Great place close the town.

This place is perfect. Great price and close location 8 mins to Gatlinburg 17mins from pigeon forge. One thing to make note of make sure you have a car you trust the drive up to the condo is pretty steep take it slow. We will be back!

Perfect mountain view

We had a lovely family girls weekend at this condo. If mountain views are what you're looking for this is it! Nothing but fun family time and giggles! Condo was clean, great communication, and no snags along the way!

Awesome views but…..

Pros- views were amazing. Pool and hot tub were great and new. We felt like it was a very safe neighborhood. Check in and check out was very easy. The king bed was super comfy and nice big TV in the bedroom. We didn’t use the other bedroom.Living room was very nice with comfy furniture.Cons- every room, door, and cupboard needs a fresh coat of paint. That would make a huge difference. We planned on cooking some meals but the kitchen was extremely small. My camper has a bigger kitchen. The oven worked fine but very small. You can’t use any burners on the stove because they are all so uneven. There is very minimum dishes and utensils. If your bringing kids bring your own cereal bowls, there’s only 1. If you’re planning on making coffee, bring your own filters. This is the only condo I’ve stayed in that didn’t provide coffee filters. There is only 1 dish towel and 1 dishcloth. The kitchen truely has the bare minimum.A little TLC would make this a 5 star place!!

Getaway Weekend

My girlfriend and I went for a little getaway weekend. The check in process was super easy however the listing online doesn’t truly show how the apartment looks. The kitchen was extremely tiny which was fine for just the 2 of us however all the dishes were absolutely disgusting all covered in grease films and food. The floors were also very dirty; our feet were covered in filth after walking on them so we kept our shoes on. However the bedrooms were very nice sized and the pool/hot tub was an huge plus! Overall the view was incredible. Every morning there were bear cubs and their mama below the balcony that we loved to watch. We loved the smokey’s and being in the mountains and want to go back but will consider staying elsewhere.

Great place to stay

The condo was clean and looked just like the pictures. There were only 2 of us that stayed so plenty of room. Beds were comfy and showers had great water pressure. Great size fridge that held all of our food and snacks we packed for our all day hikes. Would highly recommend.

Mardi Gras break

Broke away from the Mardi Gras to see a little snow. The condo was great and just what we needed for our fam of 5. Little oven in the kitchen was perfect for our take and bake pizzas. The view was beautiful. 10 minute drive from Ober. Would stay here again.

Great Location

The location and mountain views are great! Just a short drive to Gatlinburg. Check in and out was very easy. The response time from the property manager was quick if we needed anything. It is a smaller space but it worked just fine for our small family of four.

Great experience!

We stayed there for a few days and we were very impressed. The place was clean, it's view was really nice and the apartment's decor was very nice and comfy, it felt like home. We would definitely try them again and tell others to do so!

Disappointing unit

While we enjoyed our trip to Gatlinburg we did not so much enjoy our stay at the Summit. This unit is worn out! The sheets I believe were clean and the bathrooms were basically clean but the unit it’s self is dirty. The stove is FILTHY!! It has aluminum foil under the heating elements that has got to be years old! I have a picture but can’t post it on this. It also smells. The pictures online are very deceiving! Also, no where in your info did you disclose the TERRIFYING drive up and down on a narrow road or that these condos were on top of the mountain. Also, batteries in remote were dead and TV was not connected to cable box. We will not stay here again or recommend it to anyone we know!

Great Family Trip to the Smokies!

We throughly enjoyed our trip to the area and staying here made it even better. The house was as described, close to everything we wanted to do, and had plenty of bears to see! A mother and her 3 cubs were regularly visible from the balcony. The indoor pool/hot tub was not open during our stay, but I don't think we would have used it anyways by the time our days were wrapping up. The WiFi and Roku TV provided us the opportunity to stay connected to work and entertained while we were there. I had a couple things to share with the property manager and they were very responsive and communicated well. Highly recommend, we will use it again if we are in the area.

Quick weekend trip

This condo met our needs as a family of 5. We were pleasantly surprised to see the awesome view that included a view of Ober Gatlinburg’s slope and snow. The cleaning crew even created some pretty cool towel animals on the beds.
