About the Community/Property:

Welcome to Gatlinburg, the Gateway to the Smokies—a walkable mountain town where Appalachian heritage meets year-round adventure. Tucked against the border of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg treats visitors to mist-wrapped peaks, riverside strolls, and family-friendly attractions all within minutes of your front door.

Ober Mountain Adventure Park and Ski Area sits practically next-door to your rental and deserves first mention. Ride the iconic 2.1-mile Aerial Tramway from downtown to the summit, then choose your pace: carve fresh tracks on Tennessee's only ski and snowboard slopes, slide on snow tubes or the indoor ice rink, or trade winter gear for summertime thrills on the alpine slide, mountain coaster, rock-climbing wall, and scenic chairlift. An all-inclusive Adventure Pass bundles the tram, tubing hill, wildlife habitat, and amusement rides, making Ober an effortless, all-season playground with sweeping sunset views and mountaintop dining.

Just down the Parkway, Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies invites you to wander a 340-foot underwater tunnel where sharks, rays, and sea turtles glide overhead. Interactive extras—from penguin encounters to after-hours sleepovers—turn even a rainy day into a signature Smokies memory.

For sky-high vistas, hop aboard the Gatlinburg SkyLift to Crockett Mountain and step onto the record-setting SkyBridge—a 680-foot pedestrian span with glass-floor panels at its midpoint. A little farther south, Anakeesta Mountaintop Adventure Park blends treetop canopy walks, ziplines, a mountain coaster that tops 25 mph, and the Anavista observation tower for panoramic shots of the national park.

Round out any itinerary with authentic mountain culture. The 8-mile Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Community loop showcases potters, wood-workers, glass-blowers, and textile artists carrying on generations-old traditions, while a tasting at Ole Smoky Distillery offers a flavourful lesson in the area's storied moonshine craft.

Your home base at Oak Square Condominiums places you steps from the Ober Aerial Tramway, Gatlinburg Convention Centre, and River Road dining. On site, enjoy an indoor heated pool, seasonal courtyard pool, private balconies in select units, seasonal fireplaces, in-room kitchenettes, complimentary Wi-Fi, guest laundry, elevators, and free parking. Outside the gates, a five-minute drive delivers you to national-park trailheads or the lights of Pigeon Forge and Dollywood.

From powder turns and mountain coasters to artisan shopping and moonshine sipping, Gatlinburg offers something for everyone—just pick your pace and let the Smokies do the rest.
