Some guests not accustomed to driving in mountains might experience some discomfort the first time they drive the roads but become comfortable after a time or two!

The chalet was as described and pictured. Perfect for our family of 6 with all of the amenities and plenty of space. The view of the mountains was so beautiful! We were a quick drive to nearby trailheads. Our host was very responsive when needed. My only critique is that there was only one towel per guest for our 4 day stay. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here!

This chalet is great and worked out very well for our family of five. We had a small issue with the AC/heat, and the owner fixed the issue immediately. The view of the mountains is incredible, and the layout of the house is convenient. The hot tub was also a great addition after a long day of activities! It's so close to Ober Mountain, the Parkway, and the National Forest.

Overall it was a very enjoyable stay. We all loved seeing the bears from the safe and comfortable distance the cabin provided. The property was beautiful, well maintained and very comfortable to stay in. The only drawback was not enough towels or toilet paper provided. Great experience overall

Great property overall! One of the few that I looked at in the area that was accessible for my elderly mother with mobility issues. Just a heads up that, on hot days, the loft bedrooms get pretty hot even with the AC on. We purchased a fan just to get some air flow up there to make sleeping easier. And it is in the mountains so if you are expecting a driveway that isn’t pretty steep and you aren’t comfortable backing in and out of a steep driveway, probably not the property for you.

This cabin was everything and more! We saw 21 bears from our cabin! Beautiful views of the smoky mountains. The cabin was clean and exactly how it was pictured. Loved using all the pools as well! We can’t wait to come back! Great location as well!

We had the most amazing stay at Treetop Chalet—this cabin is truly a hidden gem in the mountains! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained the entire space was. It had everything you could possibly need to feel right at home, from a fully stocked kitchen to cozy living areas perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.The hot tub and arcade room were huge hits with our family and made our evenings so much fun. It’s clear the owners have thought of every detail to make this cabin more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience.The location couldn’t be better—tucked away among the trees for a peaceful, secluded feel, yet just a short drive to all the excitement of Gatlinburg. And the mountain views? Absolutely breathtaking. We spent hours just sitting on the deck soaking in the scenery.The host was exceptional—responsive, helpful, and genuinely cared about making our stay unforgettable. We felt incredibly welcome and comfortable throughout our entire visit.Highly, highly recommend this cabin. It's by far one of the coolest places we've ever stayed as a family, and we’re already dreaming of coming back!

Treetops stay

Once there it was a very nice place, serene, and peaceful. It had all that we needed in terms of kitchen, bedrooms, etc. I will say try and get there before dark on your first drive. It is in the mountains and narrow roads with no guardrails can be a little scary. Oddly, as I got used to driving it and learning best ways to go it wasn’t that bad. It is very convenient to Gatlinburg and Smoky Mountain National Park.
