Our Chianti Farmhouse is a portion of a large farmhouse a typical example of traditional old Tuscan peasant houses that has retained its original features: stone facades, terracotta floors, ceilings with arches and exposed wooden beams, plus a truly spacious and cool kitchen and living room.
Agriturismo Sommassa is located in the hills of Chianti, halfway between Florence and Siena (30km), between the medieval villages of Panzano and Greve in Chianti, in the most beautiful areas of the Tuscan countryside. Our house offers all the advantages for a vacation in complete tranquility, surrounded by woods, olive groves, and vineyards, with a large swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests, offering a spectacular panorama of the Chianti hills.
The house is surrounded by spacious private outdoor areas that offer maximum relaxation in close contact with nature. You can choose to read a book in the shade of the olive trees or take a walk on the wood trails or among the vineyards.
The part available to guests extends over two floors (with a total of 240 square meters) with independent entrance. The house is ideal for one large group, accommodates 10 adults with the possibility of adding a maximum of two children's beds. It has spacious, tastefully furnished rooms in the typical Tuscan style and is equipped with every comfort, including air conditioning or heating, which is provided on request at an additional cost based on consumption.
Ground floor: Private entrance from two sides, wheelchair access, large kitchen with dining area with fireplace, 1 double bedroom, bathroom with shower with wheelchair access. Adjacent to the kitchen is the private outdoor terrace with a gazebo, equipped for outdoor dining with tables, chairs, barbecue, and wood-fired oven.
First floor: A large living room with a large characteristic fireplace, 1 double bedroom, an adjacent room with a single bed and a shared bathroom; 1 family room with a bathroom, with a double bed, a single bed, and a crib available on request; a room with two single beds and a bathroom, with the possibility on request the transformation of the single beds into a double bed.
The property has ultra-fast Starlink wifi free and also a charging station for electric cars. To avoid disturbing our kind neighbors, parties or events are not allowed."
The swimming pool is only open from the month of May until September. The pool measures 5x14 meters and has a minimum depth of 1.28 m and a maximum depth of 1.60m
Like all properties located in the countryside, to reach the property, you need to travel on an unpaved dirt road.
