Atlanta Race weekend

We were there for the race, our room was nice, bed was cozy, water was hot. Didn’t get up in time for breakfast, because the people upstairs made so much noise stomping around and yelling that we couldn’t sleep. Called the front desk which they didn’t do anything about it. Man was nice that checked us in. Man that was there at checkout was rude and didn’t even speak a word!

The hotel was subpar. The exterior does not match the interior. There was debris still on the floor. AC unit worked well, but you could tell it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. Drapery is old and outdated and with the wooden floors you hear every footsteps from the room above you. There is a major safety issue with the windows. The windows do open for fresh air, but there is absolutely no screen behind the window which allows for smaller children to fall out of them.

Used this property for an overnight stay visiting family. To sleep and shower arrived after midnight. The room was what I expected, neat tidy clean and sufficient for what I needed. However the shower was mildewed. It needed a good bleaching or replacement. There is also an uncovered air vents directly above the shower.

I was so excited to open the door to such a small cute room. I was traveling alone on business and it was prefect. A few of my fellow neighbors traveled the hall a little loud late, but I opened the door and politely let them know I had a early morning and they quickly apologized and everything else was perfect.

I have stayed here several times in the past months. The rooms are clean and neat when you arrive, although sometimes housekeeping doesn't seem to do much cleaning while you are there. Getting clean sheets and towels is also a bit hit or miss. My biggest beef is that twice the power has gone out due to storms in the area, leaving the hotel with minimal lighting, no A/C,, no elevator. My last stay there, I had to go to a different hotel due to power being out. Its a nice, economical place to stay, as long as you arent to particular, and there are no storms
