It's still 1978 here.

The rooms here are huge and I really enjoy the space. Place has a 1970s vibe because that's the last time this place was updated. 20 minutes drive to Foxwoods Casino Resort. There's a grocery store and a Walmart nearby. It's a hidden gem and a great value, and smoker friendly rooms. The TV service here isn't that great, but it

From the outside, the hotel looks fine. Inside the receptionist didn’t even pretend to be friendly. The room was large…in fact it was a large living space and a separate bedroom and bathroom. But the place had no heating at all in the living room and the heat was turned off in the bedroom with temperatures in the teens outside. Took forever to warm up both rooms. No coffee in or outside the room. Did have frig and microwave in the frozen over kitchen space.

Staff seemed a little demotivated. Terrible musky and chemical smell in entry and hall space. Holes in bedroom wall filled with toilet paper. Stove top had missing button and tin foil underneath burners. Dishwasher cutout screwed shut with drywall. Microwave door handle coming off. Toilet paper holder fixed in place with broken piece of drywall. TV is analog only (bad picture). Only bedroom had a heater but not in living room space which was cold subsequently. Etc. Mattress felt ok and room was relatively clean. My opinion: Do yourself a favor and spent a bit more for a better place.

I usually stay here once a year for a quick family trip. Do not expect bell and whistles. It is not updated and most rooms have old appliances. However, it depends on what you are looking for in your stay. It is fairly quiet. For us it is convenient for our particular trip activities.

FROZEN! DIRTY!

I saw dried food on the wall. The curtains had holes in them. The heat was not even on and it was only in one room (we had a studio suite). It was so cold until hours later that our feet were cramping.
