The Cottage at Firefly Cellars, cozy getaway in Loudoun wine country!

The Cottage at Firefly Cellars is a private, tranquil escape on the tasting room property. Come enjoy the private pool (open May-October), walk the property with a glass of wine, enjoy views of the neighboring horses, hop to local wineries, or just sit back and enjoy all the cottage has to offer. The cottage is meticulously maintained, beautifully designed, and you will feel at home the moment you walk through the doors. Perfect for a couple, or an individual looking to escape from busy life!

IMPORTANT: The tasting room is open Thursday-Sunday from the months of April-October, and Friday-Sunday in the colder months. If you are visiting on a day that the winery is closed and would like to buy wine to enjoy at the cottage, just let me know!

The Cottage is tucked away in a private space on the property, and guests will enjoy privacy throughout their stay. Guests will also enjoy the views from the adjacent horse farm.

The great room boasts 18’ ceilings, and is attached to the modern, open concept kitchen and eating area. The bedroom includes one queen sized bed, and the bathroom comes stocked with towels and linens. The kitchen is equipped with coffee maker, cups, dishes, glassware, silverware, microwave, oven, blender, and a mini and full sized refrigerator (full size located in closet).

Towels (both bath and pool/hot tub) are provided.

The bedroom and bathroom are on the main floor. The curved staircase leads to an upstairs loft with a couch and bookshelves.

In front of the cottage, you will find a table for two that overlooks the pool, perfect for your morning cup of coffee, decompressing at the end of the day, or to enjoy an outdoor meal.

The pool is open from late May-October and is only for cottage guest use. A private hot tub and firepit are ready for guest use year round. Hot tub is maintained by a company who cleans/maintains chemical levels/etc to ensure the best quality. There is a chance they will arrive during your stay, but it is a very quick visit and will be on their way shortly (their usual days of service are Tuesdays and Fridays). There is also a pool maintenance company that comes twice a week (Mondays and Fridays, unless extreme weather. If there is heavy rain, they may come on a different day) for a quick clean and chemical level check. The hot tub is covered, so still able to use on cozy rainy evenings!

The cottage is tucked away on a private corner of the property, so you will not have interaction on anyone else who may be on the property at the tasting room or the barn, unless you come spend some time with us at the tasting room! The pool/hot tub/firepit are for cottage guests only, not shared amenities. There is a building next to the Cottage, which is part of the winery property. There are sometimes events in that building, but during those events there are privacy doors that are shut to maintain complete privacy for the Cottage guests.

The firepit is located outside of the cottage, and fire starters are provided.

No one is permitted in the cottage except for the 1-2 guests staying there. Visitors are NOT permitted during your stay.

The Cottage is for guests ages 21+ only.

IMPORTANT: If visiting during the summer months, you will be required to sign a pool liability waiver before visiting. Please send your email address when booking.

The cottage at firefly was perfect for a romantic getaway! We loved the location and how easy the check in process was. Power went out briefly during the windy afternoon and Andrea made sure we were taken care of and answered quickly to any of our questions. Having the tasting room next door is a lovely perk. We will be back!

The location is great for visiting wineries. I mean, you can walk to the Firefly tasting room. The house is very clean. The pool is awesome and the hot tub was great! The bed is comfy. Our onky critcism is the small couches in the living room aren't the best. Other than that its a great place and we had a great time.

Peaceful cottage stay

I brought my wife here for a birthday getaway and we loved it! It was perfect for the two of us to have some peaceful, restful time together. The cottage is clean and cozy. Everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Being able to walk over for a free wine tasting was a big perk! My wife and I enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit too. We hope to comeback again!

This is a beautiful little cottage on a gorgeous property. The hot tub is great, and is the cleanest, best maintained hot tub we've ever experienced in a rental. All in all, a great little spot to use as our home base while running around all weekend to attend family wedding events.A few items where there was room for improvement: 1. We reached out to the host the morning of check-in to see if there was a haridryer in the unit, but apparently they did not receive our message until the next day. Since it wasn't listed on the listing, and we didn't hear back, we purchased a hairdryer before we arrived. Lo and behold, there was indeed a hairdryer in the unit. Not a huge deal, but updating the listing might be a good idea.2. The towels and sheets seemed clean, but all reeked of mildew. Not ideal, but easily remedied for future guests, Our stay was so short it wasn't worth addressing with the host at the time. Also would recommend not using scented laundry detergent.3. The mini fridge wasn't working, but not a huge deal since there's a second fridge too.4. General maintenance upkeep around the property was great, but the cottage has some loose floor trim in the kitchen. I'd hate for someone to trip.

Great spot for a weekend getaway to celebrate some friends getting married. It was so nice to have a spot that wasn’t a hotel block and just beautiful to be at. The hot tub was the real star of the show when it was gently raining and we could still enjoy it after being out for the day. Property was clean but missing some basics like absolutely no where to hang a towel in the bathroom and a few cooking utensils but no actual eating utensils. Thankfully we had food out each day because of the wedding activities but had bought a pastry from the farmers market we were going to split and couldn’t find a knife or fork or anything so we had to use our hands. Would still return some day because it was overall a great spot!

The hot tub was amazing by far the best part of our relaxing night away, besides the view of the horses. The home was just as pictured in the listing. The only thing I would have changed (& I could have missed this when checking in) was the fact that the cottage has its back to the parking and we was confused as to if we were at the right property. But other than that. 100% would book again. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.
