It was fine. Keep in mind this is probably the nicest property in Hilo. Probably because of that it was super busy. Rooms were alright.

I would come back

Beautiful views at this hotel. Large lanai. Room is a nice size and beds were comfortable. Artwork was removed and room needs painting. I wish they still had the beautiful hula artwork! Bring it back. Checking was delayed but they did look after us. Nice staff and very quick valet service. I would return if I come back to visit Hilo.

Front Desk did not notice us when we arrived to check in. We were placed in a terrible room on the 3rd floor. Walls are paper thin, you can hear the neighbors conversations and when they use the bathroom. Property is very old and outdated. It is next to the ocean which is cool but the hotel is not at a Hilton level.

The photos in the advertising must have been from years ago. The property was so run down, it was not worth the price. The sliding glass door was so loose it rattled all night and they didn't care. The restuarant service was slow.

Not a very good experience. Wasn't able to check in until 5 hours after check in time. Was told the night would be free of charge, but was I still charged. And after trying to chase this issue up,I've had no follow up from the hotel for since January. Staff at the bar were lovely.
