Came in to Hilo for a family visit and was very happy with our stay at Reeds. They were very warm and welcoming and very accommodating when we asked to stay an extra night. Beautiful scenery, very clean room and pool. The aunties were so sweet and greeted us everytime we came in and out and helped us find towels and quarters. Even got an aloha hug on our way out! 100% recommend staying here in a his quiet nook right by the bay and downtown.

Bargain stay in an older property

Bit of a mix up at check in. Our rooms were on the 2nd floor. Hotel is older, so no elevator, and WiFi was very spotty and sometimes no WiFi unless you went to the lobby. Rooms had kitchenette with dishes and utensils, and fans (no A/C) and were clean. Beds were comfortable. Night noise level was acceptable. Free parking. Nice small pool.

The location is nice. The staff is very friendly. It’s an older hotel but it met our needs. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. No a/c, but they do supply a standing fan and ceiling fan, which was enough for us to sleep comfortably
