The room and housekeeping was amazing. The front desk staff was underwhelming. Breakfast was absolutely terrible will not ever stay at a hotel that offers terrible food. I’d rather eat out and pay extra money if it’s gonna be that bad my room is really clean. The beach was easily accessed great shopping nearby.

Great stay at Hyatt Place. Excellent walkable location, right at the end of the “busy strip”, close to quieter beaches. Beautiful mountain views. Street can get busy and loud, especially early morning but it helps you get up and observe beautiful sunrise!

Biggest complaints would be the mandatory 55 dollar a night hotel valet fee due to no parking lot and the 38 dollar a night hotel amenity fee! Not sure what amenities were worth that…the pool is tiny. Pretty pricy stay for a pretty small room and bathroom and not so great amenities. The staff was friendly enough, and it is a short walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants, which was very convenient!

Room was clean, but the reason for my low rating is because the valet employee stole $100 from my wallet while I was checking in. I realized I left my id/wallet in the car right after they took my car because I needed it for check in. When the worker went back for it, I noticed $100 out of the $190 that I had missing. I didn’t want to assume so I waited until getting back home to make sure it wasn’t misplaced. Sure enough it wasn’t. I’m still waiting for management to get back to me, I called them early morning yesterday because peoples actions should have consequences! Makes me wonder how many others they do this to, and I’m worried he may have taken my debit card information as well since it was in the same place as the money.

The property should disclose valet is first come first serve basis. When valet is full you have to park 2 blocks away and pay additional fee. The breakfast was not great. Pigeons flying over the tables since it is outside dining. Just crowded. Front reception was not friendly.
