The cleaning was done everyday. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The free breakfast was average. Location was very convenient if you like staying in crowded places. The room size was above average with a sitting area. As a personal choice, we don't like the sink outside the bathroom, and that is the only thing we didnt like about the room.

I read the review before I booked for my trip. They're all true about the noise like a dentist office every morning and I didn't know where it come from. I've changed 2 rooms and they're the same. Beside the noise, everything was great for my 6 days staying. The best of all is very convenient location: close to the beach, close to the shopping center, marketplace, eating places as well as the zoo and transportation, even convenient for our pickup bus to Polynesian center. I was surprised how easy it is. Everything is walkable and the bus/trolley station is everywhere like next door when you need one. The hotel even let you borrow beach towels and chair to go to the beach. Food is ok, not much variety but don't leave your food without attention because the birds will come right away or the wind will blow it away since we sit outdoor on the 3rd floor and very windy in the morning. I'll come back to this hotel for my next trip. Recommended.

The staff was super friendly and the location was just perfect . The room had an amazing view of the hills around Honolulu . Having a nice small balcony with the chairs outside the room made it perfect to just soak up that view ! Would definitely go back !

Hotel is in a great location and can walk to beach and great restaurants. Staff is really nice and friendly. Rooms need a good deep clean as most hotels do. We were a big party and had 5 rooms. Only thing that was a little frustrating was that we requested that the rooms be close together. We had pairs on the same floor- but the room with our kids was in a completely different tower. I had called weeks in advance to explain that they needed to be next to us.; assuming at the very least they would be on our floor. That was tough. They wouldn’t move rooms around due to capacity. So we had to deal with it. Breakfast is pretty good- and they vary it. It is a madhouse though. But something for everyone!! Valet is very tight and we had an issue with the crew pulling our rental on the curb. We ended up with a flat as a result. It was pretty frustrating. Overall a good place and great staff!!

It is "OK" hotel, but no more than that. Windows are not sound proof, so you hear street noise all the time. AC is also not quiet. Only 2 elevators - sometimes you have to wait for a few minutes. Breakfast is really mediocre, we regret we paid for it, should have gone to local cafeterias instead. And all that for 500+ per night! "Hyatt" predisposed me to something way better.
