Beachy Isle of Palms Bungalow in A+ Condition!

This two bedroom/two bath home is located on the highly desirable Isle of Palms in Charleston, South Carolina. Isle of Palms is an island roughly 15 minutes from downtown Charleston and only a couple of minutes from Sullivans Island which is another award winning beach town. Isle of Palms is a fun, family friendly island which features restaurants, golf courses, tennis courts, shops, beach bars, a grocery store, and amazing views! Unless you want to go to downtown Charleston and explore, there is no reason to leave the island.
400 Palm is the quintessential beach bungalow featuring a fenced in backyard, screened in porch, outside shower, and two full bathrooms. Have all of the essentials you're used to at home including a gas grill, cookware, silverware, dishwasher, washer + dryer, internet, as well as comfortable furniture and two large beds (king and a queen). Each bedroom has a Roku TV that can be used with any of the streaming apps you have, the TV in the living room has basic cable.
No need to leave your furry family member at home as this house is pet friendly with a fenced in backyard.
We do have 4 beach chairs at this property available for your use.
-Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds.
*The building out back is just a shed.
Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide one bar of soap per bathroom, one small shampoo per bathroom, two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the sink, two trash bags, and fresh linens for all beds. We also leave one towel and hand towel per guest the home sleeps. We do not provide beach towels or chairs.

The place was as pictured and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the house was toasty warm on these cold winter nights. Robert was very responsive to any communications. The location was super for accessing anything on Isle of Palm or Sullivan's Island.

The property was great for pets, however, should mention that the roadway that the house is on is very busy. The property was not cleaned well. Other guests have clearly let animals/pets on furniture and beds as there was a bunch of pet hair on both bedding.

It was a short walk to the beach. My husband and I stayed there with our small dog. The fenced in backyard was convenient for our pup. Everything was as advertised. We were close to Charleston and Mt. Pleasant, which gave us lots to do and see.

The house is very tired and needs a good cleaning. Did not look like the listing. Bathroom faucets need replacing. One shot water at you and the other barely ran. Kitchen was okay but dark. King bed was comfortable but queen bed was horrible. Overall, the location worked for us but we were a bit disappointed in the house.

Bungalow is in a great location on Isle of Palms. The space inside is very comfortable with a nice kitchen and living room space along with a nice screened in porch to listen to Carolina Wrens. Also, the backyard was perfect for our 20 pound dog.

The bathrooms were not in good condition (cracked tub tiles) and there was no working bathtub stopper for our toddler. The location was close to a busy road. Additionally, there is a house or small unit in the backyard that did not appear to be occupied but was unexpected from the original listing and pictures. While we had rented the place, a stranger came into the backyard and the screened in porch startling our dogs to unplug a long extension cord to a golf cart in the driveway. This intrusion was unexpected and totally unacceptable as we had the place rented at that time. When I messaged the host, they were not apologetic.

Size was perfect for my daughter and myself. We had 2 small dogs that thoroughly enjoyed the screened porch with us. The one level (no stairs in the unit or leading up to the unit) very much helped with older joints!! We rented a golf cart and we were just a short ride to the beach as well as we enjoyed sight seeing around our neighborhood! Robert answered the one question we had very promptly. It was such a comfort to know he was available. The linens and towels were great quality and much appreciated. We hope to rent it again in the future. IOP is definitely our favorite beach!!

This is diamond in the rough! So close to the beach access and the access is fairly flat and easy to walk to the beach. The fenced in back yard and tile flooring throughout makes it very dog friendly. Something I always search for when looking for a rental. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and all that is needed. The beds were extremely comfortable and we really enjoyed the add on screened in porch. We will definitely rent again if traveling to IOP. Thank you for your hospitality.

We had a great week at Robert's place! It was our first visit to IOP and we were very happy with the location to Charleston and Mt. Pleasant. Robert's Bungalow is close enough to walk to the beach. We walked up the beach to the shops for morning coffee and bagels, etc... Our dogs loved the early morning play time in the water. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of closet space / dressers / etc. The kitchen is adequately stocked with various cooking supplies. There is a Keurig for pods or a standard coffee maker. We enjoyed making our own frozen cocktails with the blender. The screened in porch was wonderful to relax and listen to the rain on its tin roof. The back yard is fenced to keep your pups safe. There are several places to rinse off (us and the dogs) outside after being at the beach. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
