We arrived about 1.5hrs early from our check in and the helpful staff got us checked in immediately. The hotel bar had on a good selection of drinks and sports on the huge tv. For an older hotel, the room was clean and the bathroom was spotless. Free parking was a bonus and also a complimentary buffet style breakfast in the morning which we didn’t expect. Would recommend this hotel to anyone .

The Plaza is our go to hotel when overnighting in Kamloops. It's convenient, well prized and there are good options for coffee, dining and drinks within walking distance to the hotel.

Don't stay here.

Parking was 4 blocks away. Room was old and dilappitated. Afraid to leave anything in the car. Took a hotel cart to pick up luggage. It barely fit in the elevator which rattled and shook all the way to the 5th floor. Room door wouldn't shut unless you slammed it. Bed was hard as a rock. Would have been more comfortable on the floor. Good breakfast included except everything was cold (eggs, potatoes, sausage etc.). No counters at all in the bathroom. Coffee maker had to be moved to bedside table to plut in. Woman at desk was friendly but was extremely difficult to understand because of her very thick accent. Area of town did not look safe. Homeless sleeping in doorway across street.
