Total disappointment but trip goes on..

The management really need to do extra work to fix issues.. First, make sure all the photos/images used & displayed in the booking apps are 100% coming from their own facts/facility & not a mixture of others. Toilet needs maintenance. Room services/cleanliness need to be improved. Do make the rooms more lively. Walking distance to Kuta beach was a drag, but should be fine if you really want to do brisk walk.

No breakfast and no near buy place to buy breakfas

It located in a corner end (dead end) of a road. Rainy days can not walk to hotel. Roads flood. No hangers , wall cupboard or cloth racks in the room. Staff friendly and nice. But facilities, access roads are not satisfied.

bathroom smells funny

booked for king size bed but ended up getting a 2 single beds, late at night so i didnt even feel like argue with them; and then the bathroom always have that mouldy smell....NOT recommended

5 star service on a budget

The hotel needs renovation. However, the service was so good that I was more than happy to overlook it. Breakfast was excellent and they cleaned our room every day. Room service was for free. We had breakfast in bed, great. The pool is very small but you can use it even in the night. They provide complementary coffee downstairs. What I did not like is that the stuff waked us up every morning around 8.00-08.30h in order to ask what we want for breakfast. I did not complain but this was quite disturbing since we needed rest. Everything else was just perfect and the stuff is very nice.

5 star service for a budget price

The hotel needs renovation but the service is so good that I was more than happy to overlook this. It is very clean with nice paintings and decoration. The breakfast was great and they deliver it to your room if you request for it. You get free water, complementary coffee and very friendly stuff in a quiet hidden street far from traffic. The little pool can be used even in the night and this is quite romantic. Thanks for a wonderful time. We'll not forget you.

Excellent stay and absolutely terrific staff!!

I cannot rate A Residence any higher, we were so incredibly pleased with our stay. We booked one night initially for our first day in Kuta, and decided to stay a second night because we were comfortable and the staff was so terrific. The room was very comfortable and the air con worked very well, also the hot water and shower pressure was great. It's a short walk to the main strip which was perfectly fine, but the staff was what really made our stay so memorable. We decided to rent a motorbike for nearly 2 weeks and downsized from 4 backpacks to one, and the staff happily kept the other packs for us while we biked around the island. They also kindly kept my medicine in their refrigerator for the 2 weeks we were gone, as it cannot be exposed to heat. We stayed at A Residence once again when we finished our motorbike trip and again the staff was just so kind and supportive. I can't thank everyone at A Residence enough for giving us such a wonderful experience, and for keeping our belongings safe so we could explore Bali by bike!

Nice place to stay in Kuta

Hotel has a pool on rooftop, AC, friendly stuff, it is close to main road, but very quiet, small shop is next to the hotel. You can also rent a motorbike. Supermarket is about 5 minutes walk, beach about 8 minutes.

I stayed here for 1 night unexpectedly. Was a little hard to find but not that bad, it's down few alleyways but I liked it because it was away from the busy street. Room was clean, cheap and comfortable. Staff were great. My only problem was that I booked a queen room and got 2 single beds, however this was made known on check in... Wasn't a huge deal as I am travelling on my own

Below average hotel

The Hotel staff were very friendly, however the room condition is quite poor, example stained linen, run down bathroom, etc. It was quite a cheap hotel, so I guess you get what you pay for.

We only stayed for a couple of hours before we got the boat to the Gili's . We lost our bag in the Taxi and the security staff were super helpful, offered to drive us back to the airport to find it. The hotel unfortunately is very basic and bit of a strange location hidden down a maze of back roads in what feels like the middle of no where.

Since I arrived the personnel was really kindly. Every time with a huge smile trying to help me with my bags. Just I have to say that the shower was not working properly was broken. but the room, the personnel and overall was good.

We got locked inside our room

Would not recommend. Got locked inside our room, no way out. Had to wait for staff to get us out. Sheets weren't clean, smelt damp and water damage everywhere.

The Hotel Staff were very Helpful.

The Hotel is a bit Run down. It is almost 800 Meters from the main road and you need to walk 800 meters to the shops. The Staff were excellent. They let me use their Bike to go to the shops. You can order food and drinks with staff and they will bring to your room. The hotel could do well with new bed sheets and new furniture.

Not really recommended hotels

I stayed in 2 night and mostly spend my whole day outside, but I expected when I enter the room at least clean room is ready to use, I know the price that I pay is cheap but you can increase your price if you do the best. When I enter the room I found plastic bag in chairs and the window was very dirty, I plan to swim in rooftop but was canceled when I see the swimming pool was terrible. So far that I really like this hotel is only wifi connection and AC was quite cool. One mote thing, I ask for toothpaste & toothbrush and they charge it. Hahaha funny

We only stayed for 2 nites, it was fine for the price we paid. Staff was friendly and helpful. But the hotel location is not that convenient. It was at the end of a small alley, hard to find, but taxi driver would know.
