The Four Seasons kyoto is an exceptional, brand-new hotel that exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, everything felt pristine and thoughtfully designed. The rooms are gorgeous—spacious, elegant, and incredibly comfortable, with an attention to detail that truly sets this property apart. Cleanliness is impeccable throughout the hotel. Breakfast was outstanding—fresh, beautifully presented, and one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had in Japan. The ofuro in the spa is divine—a serene, deeply relaxing experience and the perfect way to unwind after exploring the beautiful garden with beautiful shrine and koi fish. We genuinely loved every second of our stay. Four Seasons kyoto has raised the bar and is now one of our favorite hotels anywhere. We cannot wait to return.

This hotel was perfect. The staff was friendly, helpful and genuinely cared about the service. The room was upgraded without asking. There were birthday surprises in my room every day. This hotel offers a great experience with its exceptional service. However, I wish there were more dining options available, as the nearby area seems to be quite inactive. Additionally, the garden could be improved by installing better lighting to make it usable at night.
