We stayed for 4 nights in a superior twin room with 2 twin beds and 1 double sofa bed. The room size is good, in good condition and is reasonably sound proof. The hotel is located in a convenient location with convenient stores, shops, cafes, restaurants and transports (bus and metro). We highly recommend this hotel.

Our room was spacious and tidy, clean and comfortable. The staff were also helpful. The location is fantastic, right in the hustle if central Kyoto. Strongly recommend a twin room for additional space.

Staff was good. But we left something behind and tried to msg the hotel but they didn’t reply. I asked Expedia to get a hold of them and they told Expedia that we didn’t leave anything. Also the room wasn’t that clean, hair left over from the last guests and something red on the wall. Good location but not for that price.

Room and bathroom was big enough and comfortable and clean. However, the window opened out to a brick wall. Location was close to Karasuma train station and Hankyu stations and bus was right outside. Everything was walking distance and plenty of 24 hour eating places around

The hotel is in a great location, but there a few things we didn’t like: bathroom shower head was turned on so powerfully that it was impossible to avoid soaking the floor during a shower no matter which direction you turned the head or how tightly you had the curtain closed around you. The sink faucet would not stay on for longer than 3 seconds before it would roll itself to the off position. Both the sink and bathtub were clogged, so would start to fill up within seconds of washing our hands or having a shower. We also found that though there is a smoking room on the first floor with a closing door, the room was across from the elevators and the smell of smoke would travel into the elevator and sometimes permeate to our floor.

The room is tiny and not very comfortable, there is barely place to put a suitcase or open it. It's a pitty that there is no breakfast at the hotel, but on the other hand, there are plenty of cafes with excellent breakfasts right near the hotel. However, the hotel is in a great location, there is everything around - food, shopping, a bus stop and a train station.
