Perfect hotel, right across the street from Kyoto station. Use the underground entrance from right outside the hotel and you don't even have to cross the street. On a rainy day, you could access the station with only being outside for less than 2 seconds. The underground mall had enough restaurant options that you never had to go far. Kyoto is very busy but if you get to attractions early, you will have the place to yourself and it is absolutely gorgeous.

The hotel is literally across the Kyoto Station. Unfortunately, when I got here, we didn’t follow the directions well. But when we checked out headed to Tokyo, we crossed the street to the Station.

Unhelpful staff, rooms were not cleaned well. Found McDonald’s wrappers under the bed, makeup capsules on the floor. Not great when we had a baby crawling around. We found the staff at the front counter unwelcoming and unhelpful. Good location to the train station.

Very convenient location near Kyoto Station. Lots of dining options nearby. Good buffet breakfast available in the restaurant. Rooms were large, and did not feel cramped for a family of 3 adults. Water pressure is good though. Watch out for rhe beds and pillows - they are on the firm side. Adequate bumber of electrical outlets. Wifi and wired connections were available and internet speed was fast. Staff very helpful and courteous.

Very convenient to train station, but noisy at night - there are constant door bell (ding dong) noises from the escalator, as well as some emergency sirens (from the hospital across the road).

We are right across the street from a main train station and shopping mall in Kyoto. There are restaurants and independent general stores across the street so very convenient. The hotel is higher end and as such the staff aren’t as down to earth and friendly as in other hotels we’ve stayed. Very professional in a no nonsense way. The service has been excellent and the room cleaners go out of the way to make your stay pleasant. We booked additional nights as our travel schedule was fluid. Unfortunately we caught a very bad cold/flu which messed up half of our vacation. What can you do - I’D HIGHLY SUGGEST WEARING MASKS 😷 NEXT TIME AS THEIR TRAIN STATIONS AND TRAINS THEMSELVES ARE SUPER CROWDED. We should have known better!
