The hotel was lovely. The room was so comfortable and spacious. Most comfortable room for 4 people we have had in Japan. The train and bus stops are close by. And the hotel is tucked into the cutest little street with shops and restaurants.

Modern and extremely clean, fantastic location (5 min walk from both Karasuma and Tozai subway lines which made exploring the city manageable), located on a side street (quiet), kind, helpful and gracious staff (who gave us great recommendations re: navigating the bus system). Loved the location, the room and the staff. Room was vey spacious and beds were comfortable. The area around it was very good. Easy to access all Kyoto sites with lots of transit options and there was also a lot of high quality eating options nearby. I personally loved the bakery around the corner - Le Petit Mec for breakfast. Best French pastries I have ever had and good coffee. Highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent room with plenty of space despite 3 sharing. Reception were lovely and very helpful and the location of the hotel was perfect for Nijo Castle and the Imperial palace. There was a subway station within 5 mins walk, making it east to explore other areas of Kyoto. There were plenty of great restaurants nearby
