Overall would recommend. The beds allowed us to slide our luggage under which was nice to get a little more space. There are too lounges and they were both very spacious and clean. Great location. There is a sushi and omakase restaurant right next to it that I highly recommend. The drier for laundry was the most expensive of all the hotels we went to in Japan (100 yen for 10 min as opposed to 100 yen for 30 min).
Hotel aux abords luxueux qui en fait propose des chambres standard, fonctionnelles, trĂšs petites. Tout est peint en noir. Rien de typique. En revanche, pratique car proche du centre de Kyoto. Cher pour ce que c'est.
Our bed was not comfortable at all, it was literally made of bricks..extra fees for everything was not convenient also for us. Lot ot noises around our room too was really annoying
We stayed 2 weeks in Japan and this was the nicest place we stayed in. The common areas where very comfortable and spacious, so if you're planning to hangout at the hotel a bit, it's a good choice. You can bring your own food and drinks too. The hotel also had showers in the common area, very clean, with a good area to dry your hair or put your make up on before leaving. We used it when the other person in our group was napping, so we didn't have to bother them with noise and such.
Hostel staff were great. Very nicely located buildings with comfy rooms. Shared facilities are all very nice, has all of the amenities and comfort of a hotel but comes as a much cost friendlier option. Will definitely stay again if visiting Kyoto
