We had a wonderful time at Riverside by Cowichan lake cottages. Alisha & Matt have provided a beautiful retreat. We really appreciated all the little things that they have thought of. The staff were friendly and our cottage was clean and had lots of supplies. It’s nice to not have to worry about running out of toiletries. Our only complaint was that the bed is quite hard. We both felt a foam topper would make a world of a difference but that’s just our preference. It’s a beautiful community, lots of areas to explore. It was exactly what we were hoping for and we hope to return in the near future.

This was our first time to Vancouver Island and this location was perfect for my family of five. The proper was very clean and organized, comfortable beds, cool AC, and the dock on the river was our favourite spot. We will definitely be returning.

I stayed in the small suite with a pull-out sofa bed. It was comfortable and modern. Clean. When there was a small problem with the fridge on check-in, the hotel immediately fixed it. Would stay again.
