We loved this hotel, the front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. We were on a road trip for one week before boarding a cruise so when we saw that there was a laundry room for guests it saved me so much time and very convenient for people travelling. Would definitely recommend this hotel! 5 🌟

Pleasant Stay!
I recently stayed at the Microtel Hotel in Nanaimo, and it was fantastic! The place was spotless, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Accessibility was a breeze, making it super convenient for getting around. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay – I’d definitely recommend it!

We stayed in room 219. Our family was looking for a sleep in day. At 7 in the morning we had a repeated rumbling sound and shaking in our room that would occur every few minutes that woke our family. When I told the front desk they said someone would check it out. No mention of any way to make it up to our family. We brought the cleaning staff in who was surprised how bad it was. Spent a lot of money for a bad experience.

Our stay was both good and bad. The hotel pool was amazing for kids, rooms were quiet and clean. Breakfast was very poorly organized, with no cooking spray to use the waffle machine so it looked a complete mess. They adjusted our rate but if they advertise breakfast, I wish they would have been able to deliver breakfast during the busiest time of year, without excuses.

Staff were great, great breakfast and my kids LOVED the waterslide/pool. The fridge in the room was really nice and overall just a great stay. The front desk staff were also excellent. Really happy with our stay and would definitely stay again.

Great little pool, and the kids (teenagers) loved the waterslide. It was nice that the waterslide doesn't connect to the pool so you dont get splashed. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good but if you like waffles or bagels be sure to get there early as it fills up fast and that is a popular station. We'd stay here again and definitely recommend it to others
