"What an enjoyable time. The place is clean and tidy but the rooms could use a bit of an update. It's party time all day, if you're looking for a quiet, boring hotel this is not for you. First class food is served everyday. The staff show you that they care. We will be back."

"Although the booking is advertised as Hotel Punta Leona, it is actually for Apartamentos Arrecifes rather than a room in the main hotel. This should be made clearer, as the apartments are farther away and require transportation, an important detail for families with young children or elderly travelers or anyone requiring a wheelchair. We also experienced a 40-minute delay at check-in because the room was not ready (partially compensated with a late check-out). Upon arrival, the apartment did not appear thoroughly cleaned, beach towels were missing, and the room phone was not working. Additionally, check-in takes place at the main hotel, about a 5-minute drive away on a poorly maintained road. The apartment includes a kitchen but lacks basic cookware. Air conditioning is limited to the bedrooms, while the living area only has ceiling fans. On the positive side, there is a supermarket within a short 2-minute walk."
