Yuli bungalow stay

Place was it old and dirty but location was good and pool was nice and very friendly staff . Staff gave us 4 free beers on arrival

Good villas for families and big groups

While it wasn't the easiest to find, the villa was close to the bustling parts of kuta and legian, ideal if you're planning on walking around that area. But as I visited with some older members of the family, it was a bit difficult as they don't like walking and cabs would not enter that road (however we were able to rent a van with a highly capable driver). Yuli Bungalows is best if you're looking for the best space for your buck. The minibar prices weren't too steep, and we were prepared to go without the usual free toiletries. But the staff is very attentive with fresh towels and the small pool upfront would be best for children.

Not what we hoped for..

Yuli Bungalows are down a narrow lane way that is quiet and safe. The reception guys are typical lovely Balinese people. The accomodation is adequate, which is reflected in the price we paid. The big failure at Yuli was the lack of a security guard. Not for safety, but to pull other guests into line when things get too noisy and unruly. We had two nightmare days and nights of loud drunk group next to us dominating the pool and smashing glasses. Our requests for them to tone it down fell on deaf ears until my hubby lost it with them. But that could have gone wrong and landed us in trouble. I wouldn't stay here again just because of that reason .

traditional villa, friendly staff

It was a very traditional, older style villa with nice colours and paintings. We loved the aircon in the rooms, the pool was very inviting, clean and refreshing. The staff were very friendly and helpful even though they couldn't speak the best of English. Only downs were bad water pressure (it got nice and hot though) and wifi wasn't that good unless outside. Good location close to everything :)

Really enjoyed my stay at Yuli Bungalow! We booked a bungalow for 4 and it had 2 bedrooms - one with one bed and another with two beds. To our pleasant surprise, each bed was a queen-sized bed which meant we had more than enough space! The staff were also really friendly and were able to help us in little ways such as giving us directions etc.

Ok, however difficult to locate initially.

Fortunately we had a driver organised by the Bungalows to pick us up from the airport. It is a difficult place to find if you do not know where it is, as it is in a narrow gang and can only be accessed by foot or scooter. Staff were good. No breakfast provided, but nice spots close by. Easy walking to shopping, Kuta area and massage places. We were the only guests at the time, so we had the pool and grounds to ourselves. Pool small but clean.
