Nice, quiet, and laidback.

Landed in Kauai at about 9:30 am and by 11ish we decided to drop off our luggage at the Kauai Inn. To our surprise they offered to check us in early! We were extremely grateful. And to top it off we were updated to a Mountain View!

This isn't a fancy hotel, but it's very comfortable and charming. Phillip, the owner, and all of the staff, were very welcoming and helpful. Our room and bed were very comfortable. The Continental breakfast was great. We enjoyed the live music by the pool in the evenings, and the resident peacocks and cats that wander around the property. We'd go back!

I like the quiet countryside environment. I didn’t like the path to hotel. Because of bridge work, I have to use long back route. It's better to stay any hotel near Kapaa east side than this hotel for easy accessibility
