The room was very clean and housekeeping was quick and very efficient. Air conditioning was noisy but kept the room cool. Staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations for local dining and excursion options. The hotel was very close to local transportation though dining, shopping, and grocery stores were within shopping distance. The hotel itself was quiet but is located on a busy street so it is possible to hear sirens and loud groups outside. The beds were very uncomfortable but the rest of the overall cleanliness of the property would have me stay here again.

This stay was exactly what we needed. After spending 2 1/2 weeks in busier parts of Portugal and Morocco we found this to be a quiet haven. The only negative was we thought we were getting a kitchen in our room VIII. It ended up being a “shared” one in the main area. That would be great but the kitchen was only a coffee station with a shared fridge and microwave. Not my version of a kitchen. Other that that we loved it there!

Cute place, convenient, beds were not comfortable. We were 3 sisters staying in a suite. Very noisy at night with drunk people. The young lady at the reception was great 😊 she was very helpful. We felt safe walking at night after dinner.

We loved our short stay in Casas de São Bento and we certainly will be back. The place is located close to restaurants and independent shops, the rooms are gorgeous and comfortable, excellent communication and we felt very welcomed by João and Beatriz. Highly recommend this place.

Nice renovated home. The suite was very clean. It is across the street from their Parliament house. Lots of interesting restaurants nearby and a small supermarket. The street cars run closely. I would whole heartedly recommend this suite.

I absolutely loved this place. Incredibly spacious, very cute decor. They had complimentary port and pastel de nata when I checked in. Great communication both prior to check in and after I checked out. They allowed me to keep my bags at reception for a while so I could explore more after checking out. I only stayed one night but wish I stayed more! Truly a gem.

We loved every second there. The flat was clean and had everything we could wish for! The room was ready even earlier so we had an easy check in around 12pm! The area is also very nice. Nice Breakfast spots, good coffee, wine bars, restaurants and cute shops. Good public transport options but also walkable. A grocery shop down the street.
