This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I travel often. On the morning of our departure, the hotel completely cut off the water supply all morning. That meant no shower, no way to brush our teeth, no way to wash up, and not even the ability to properly use the bathroom before heading to the airport for a long day of travel. This is not an inconvenience, this is a complete failure to provide the most basic necessity.
The staff’s response only made things worse. When we politely asked for help, they treated us horribly. Instead of showing concern, they told us multiple times to “lower our voices” as though we were in the wrong for being upset. They kept repeating that they were “not responsible,” refusing to provide any solutions or even an apology. At one point, the receptionist promised to bring water bottles, but they never arrived. If I had waited for him, I would have been late for my flight. Their words and actions showed a total lack of accountability, professionalism, and respect for guests.
How can anyone pay for a hotel room and not even be given access to WATER? It is outrageous that a service we paid for could not meet the most basic human need. Not only did the hotel fail to provide this, but they also showed zero care or urgency in fixing the issue. Instead, they dismissed us and left us to leave for the airport feeling dirty, disrespected, and frustrated.
This experience was unacceptable from beginning to end.
